The BP Remote Viewing Experiment Discussion « Thread Started on Mar 22, 2012, 10:31pm »
After speaking with a self proclaimed psychic on this forum about remote viewing, I have decided to offer up the following experiment.
Here are the details. I have a mouse connected by a wire to my laptop.
I challenge the psychic to "remote view" said mouse, and describe in as much detail as possible, it's colour or colours, a description of its shape, and any interesting features.
Now the psychic has suggested that my word alone as to if he is right or not is not enough, therefore I am nominating two possible people to be in possession of a photograph of said mouse.
Those two people are non other than Derek Acorah (through his wife Gwen) and Colin Fry.
It is the psychics choice as to which of these names shall receive the photograph.
I have chosen these two psychics, as firstly I know they would love to see me eat my words, and also as that way there is less chance of me getting out of admitting the remote view was correct.
If the psychic correctly remote views the mouse, then I will publish the results in public and depending on the accuracy I will allow the general public to decide how accurate it was.
If the psychic would like to draw a picture of the mouse, that would also be cool and allow for easier comparison
However if the psychic is wrong, well I will be very disappointed, and put it down as yet another failed experiment in the world of remote viewing.
Will the psychic accept this challenge? Lets see.
IF the psychic accepts this challenge, then I am happy purely for fun, to allow other forum members to have a guess too, just to see if anyone else has psychic powers, or just to see if someone is lucky.
Please do NOT post any guesses yet, wait and see if he accepts the challenge first, and then let me take a photo and send it to the nominated judge.
ps. This is me putting my balls on the line,

I highly doubt he will take up this challenge, despite the fact it is incredibly leaned in his favour. Most people would think I was an idiot to offer a challenge in this way, but when someone is as stubborn as this person is, I feel like I have no other choice than to put myself down and give him as much of a chance as I can.
So far the only response I have got is that he is thinking about it. Lets hope he is not thinking of a way to get out of it.
Must say I have a bad feeling he will never post on this forum again

Well I think the silence is deafening! I was prepared to put my name and reputation in the hands of psychics to judge another psychic, and the psychic suddenly disappears.
This is everything that is wrong with the psychic industry, and proof that their prejudice against skeptics is nothing to do with distrust of the skeptic, but more a distrust of their own claims.
I am a pretty hardened skeptic, you all know that. My opinion is out there, and I dont pretend to be anything I am not.
Yet here I design a very very simple test, a test that favours the psychic in every way possible, and still the psychic basically refuses, even though I have no possibly way of tricking them, lying, or doing anything dodgy, in fact I even put the success of any said test down to likes of Derek Acorah and/or Colin Fry, two people i have continually called frauds, and exposed over a 8 year period.
So there we have it. The BadPsychics 100% record is still intact.
NO PSYCHIC has taken up any challenge we have put forward, even when completely balanced in their favour.
So now I open up this challenge to anyone else who considers themself psychic, or even if you just want to try remote viewing for fun, or even to see if by blind luck it is possible.
SO if you want to have a go, put your name down here, but do NOT guess just yet. Do NOT guess until I have sent an image of the mouse to the Acorahs, and incase a psychic wants to take up the challenge in an official manner.
I will announce on here when I will accept official guesses / remote views
