Ok guys here is the truth regarding all of this.
Stockwell decided to remove himself from the management company IPM, they also manage Colin Fry.
Allegedly he did not repay them money that was used to promote him, we are talking in the region of £150,000+
No wwhen he left IPM he asked Higgsy to leave to and come with him, apparently she decided against that, and stayed with IPM
Now the whole 3 mediums concept is owned by IPM, so the format that worked for them was to have 2 contracted mediums, and then to add Derek as he is a big name draw to help sell it.
So Colin Fry was always the main man, but he understands that he would need someone like Derek to help draw. Of course if Derek refused to do it, you would just assume that they would find another psychic, perhaps someone like Sally Morgan, or even a newbie.
Of course now Stockwell is majorly regretting his decision to turn his back on Fry, and also trying to "steal" Higgs, as his theatre sales have dropped dramatically, more than Fry or Acorah, and he could probably do with the extra exposure and money that a 3 mediums tour would generate.
So to summarize, the reason as far as I understand it, is that Stockwell "did the dirty" and thought he was a big enough name on his own, and stuck two fingers up to Fry, and tried to Steal Higgs.
And now even though Fry and Acorah may not be selling out venues, no where near, they are still doing a hell of a lot better than Stockwell.
As far as I am concerned it seves Stockwell right.

I can honestly now say hand on my heart that TJ & Stockwell are in my opinion not in contact with the spirit world. I know this from many an hour sat doing workshops and mediumistic courses with them at Wickford and in London.
I have two taped readings from Tony, all with predictions that did not come true. It is thanks to TJ & Tony that I am now a complete skeptic. I joined Tony's courses some 6 years ago now & continued on and off for about 4 years.
During this time I came to see how they worked first hand, and perfected that art - even TJ said she would pay to see me demonstrate at one of her classes. It was during my time spent at their studios that I really came to understand how desperate they are for fame.
I am now a great fan of Derren Brown, which is all these mediums are doing but to a lower quality. Derren's information is far more accurate than either of these two mediums could ever hope to achieve.
I really wish that the public could see behind the scenes at these studios and how these mediums behave and talk about other mediums.
It is so easy to prove that mediumship is fake, I am such a great skeptic but can give information more accuretaly than Higgs? You just need to watch their technique, it is always the same. I think it comes down to intelligence and how much a person generally knows about different subject matters - they can then always throw lots of different subjects in the pot at a demonstration and are pretty much guaranteed a hit in a large audience. I personally think that Derren Brown is probably very intelligent.
Now I just laugh at how stupid I was and how I was swept into it all. I must do a transcript on my reading with Tony Stockwell at the College of Psychic Studies when I have more time, I have not listened to if for years, but I do remember Tony telling me that I had 5 Spirit Guides!!!! As I sat down apparently he could see their faces on the ceiling - ashame I did not recognise the description of any of them. He also told me I had work to do with the Spirit World , I now successfully run two businesses, one of them does include spirits that you drink, maybe he was getting confused!

Hi Charly, I quite agree with you there!
I went to one of Mia Dolans workshops and David Wells and also me joining badpsychics I can say now im a fully fledged sceptic. I cannot understand how people still believe in all that stuff and live there life by it!
To me all mediumship is is guesswork and intuition, if you are good at that and body language of cause you will be pretty good, but not good enough. You are right about Derren Brown what he does (even though it's trickery) is bloody brilliant, no comparasion to the rest of these well known mediums, they are a poor job compared to Derren.

I just wondered at Mia Dolan's workshop did she use any of that funny mumbo jumbo language that she uses on her programme, the bit about when she can see the spirt coming down the stairs and then starts to say some odd praye - in latin??
I have never seen Mia Dolan or David Wells, but I guess once you have seen one, you have seen them all!

The funny mumbo jumbo Dolan recites in latin is the De Profundis or Psalm 129 http://www.newadvent.org/.htm this gives a bit of background from the catholic directory I do chuckle everytime she puts on that serious scary face and starts rattling it off

While i was at the course, we had have a private chat outside the building as Mia is a chain smoker, so she liked nipping outside when it was coffee break to smoke 3 cigs in a row, anyway she did mention to me about her programme, not sure which series either 1 or 2 of haunted homes. One of the houses she went to there was a dark force/evil entity, she said to me that same evening this evil entity was at the end of her bed, so it must of followed her back to the hotel, if i can remember now she got rid of it! (sounds too far fetched to me).
Mia believes that you can read people on a psychic level through their auras, not sure what to make of it really, but being honest now, she did a reading for someone on the workshop by reading their aura my honest opinion of this was just bog standard cold reading, she mentioned to this lady (what i can remember as this was just over 2 years ago now) mainly her career and lovelife, this woman was roughly in her late 30's early 40's, so she must of had someone in her family that had died, but Mia never spoke to any spirit for this lady, which i find strange, anyway if that reading would of been very good, then i know for sure i would remember more, boring boring boring.
I have met David Wells a couple of times, not sure what to make of him, defernately not psychic IMO, very knowledgable, but again that doesn't make you psychic! I get the impression from David Wells that he is a very personal man and likes to keep it that way. When I first met David in the lunch break all of us on the course went downstairs in the bar area and had lunch and i sat on a table next to David, i was slagging off Derek Acorah to him and he was smiling, but he never said a bad word about Derek, even though i got the impression he was agreeing with me, but then again David was still working at that time for Yvette and Carl on Most Haunted.
