 Site problem need help
« Thread Started on Dec 17, 2007, 10:49am »

A few people have mentioned how when they go to the main site www.badpsychics.com either through google or through a link posted somewhere else, that they get forwarded to an adult dating site.

Now i have used such affiliate links on some of my other sites, but obviously never on BP, i have searched through BP and for the life of me cannot find any html, or js code for it.

Can someone have a look at the site and see if they can find any code i may have accidentally put on the site, or if it has been hacked or anything?

When i tried to view the Charles Sibley piece on the main site, i got this warning come up:

serving.adsrevenue.clicksor.net/serving/links_net.
php may cause a breach of browser security.

Yeahs thats the new popup i added the other day.

The problem what i have is that sometimes when someone comes to the site through google, they get forwarded to the Adultfriend finder site or one of its affiliates.
This is NOT a popup, it forwards straight from BP

Ok guys, this problem is still happening.
There is no pop up code on the site or forwarding code, yet it is still happening.
Can someone with the know how please see if they can see why?

I have emailed my hosting technical Dept to see if they can help but i will guess they will blame the software i use for the site

I dont get the pop ups now so my guess its people's computers, might i suggest you run the program called adaware as it removes most crap from your computer.

I've been checking the site code too jon via view source and i cant find any advert codes thats causing the problem.

I use adaware, and loads of others so i know its not my PC.
I know that Bobdezon had it happen to him too.

I have checked the code on my site manually as well as through the view source method and nothing.

It only seemsto appear when it forwards and by then it is too late
