Famous ectoplasm photos reproduced

Ok so I know its obvious that these old ectoplasm photos are faked, but how easy was it to do?
Well during an episode of Fake or Fact Paranormal Files, they tried to reproduce some famous photos and these are the results.

And yes before anyone moans I know the people on Fake or Fact Paranormal Files are hardly the most credible, or intelligent, but they do do some good reproductions sometimes

OK,have to say I think the original fakes! seem more credible, than the experimental fakes!.

I think the problem is we dont know exactly what they used to fake the originals so its guess work trying to copy them
