Meant to ask - Bubbles, who's that in your avatar. I only ask in a 'slightly leery, likes looking at good looking women with minimal amounts of clothes on' way. S Would you believe me if I said it was me? ..........pmsl

John Carpenter is a genius .... how about 'The Fog' and 'The Thing' ..... both classics I'd forgotten about The Fog. That's a great film.

Crikey! I first watched The Fog in Germany, on an exchange trip with school, in German too.. lol. The subtitles were a bit of a distraction, but I have been haunted by the words "Why not me, Blake...?" ever since.. lol lol

Agree with the original Haunting and re-make of The Thing. Gotta mention the silent Nosferatu, just for atmosphere.
But if I've got to pick just one, Not sure if it even qualifies as pure horror, but it has got to be The Wicker Man.

It's got to be "The Exorcist" for me: I always said I'd never watch it (being a good catholic girl, lol, and having heard about the "crucifix" scene) but my friends and I went to a midnight screening in Leicester Square a few years ago. I averted my eyes in the apppropriate places, lol, but the scariest thing was that apart from one couple, we had the place to ourselves! ... Blo*dy great!

agree with the original Haunting, Salems Lot, The remake of The Thing, and The original wicker man, also like The Omen and the Texas Chainsaw massacre..and Psycho of course if that counts as a horror film...Night of the Living dead is cool aswell (the original)...Carrie, and not to mention the one and only American Werewolf in London!
