I can't stand David Jason, but used to love Open All Hours. I'll still watch it, out of curiosity. I'm sure it'll miss Ronnie Barker, though.

I thought it was ok, it was a nice tribute to Ronnie Barker, i would happily watch a 6 episode series, if they mixed the old characters with new ones, it could do well.
Remember when the original first aired on BBC2, it bombed, and was only when it was repeated on BBC1 that it did better.
At least the BBC have tried something, instead of just showing repeats
