I think the more that we have things like WikiLeaks and whistleblowers, the more we realise that the governments are upto no good.
I think the internet can help debunk silly conspiracies like moon landing hoax etc, but I also think these leaks means some conspiracies suddenly dont seem so silly.
Just today I was reading about a new book that says Hitler escaed the bunker and lived in Argentina till he died in his 70s.
Something like that although sounding fantastic, suddenly starts to look more plausible when you think there was no body and no DNA, along with the fact other high ranking Nazis did escape and live into old age in other countries and were only discoverd in the last decade or so.
