Hello. Just wondering whether people prefer the new series to the old stuff from the 70s and 80s. For me it's the Classic series every time. The Doctor's ( Tom Baker and Jon Pertwee) were far better than the regenerated timelord. The stories were different class too. The best stuff - Genesis of the Daleks and the Time Warrior have never been bettered. The format was different back then too with 4 or 6 25 minute episodes which i liked - a cliff-hanger every week! Was the Doctor going to make it out alive etc - because the villains were very villainous - Davos, the Master, Magnus Greel, Linx the list just goes on! Then the assistants seemed to be better too. Sarah Jane, Harry Sulivan, Leela... Yep it's the classic stuff for me!
