I'm finding it difficult to be sympathetic towards the people who are taken in by these con-men. Everyone's got the internet these days, go on there and investigate how these people conduct their readings before parting with your hard earned money. Just the simple claim that someone can talk to dead people should arise a little scepticism/ cynicism. There's just so many daft people about these days what do you do with them?

Me too! You are right of course. The old saying that "a fool and his money is soon parted" comes to mind. The only problem is that there are a lot of fools out there!

You need to have some sympathy, some people are just not internet savvy. Some people have been indoctrinated since childhood into believing in things like spirits and magic men who live in the sky. And like any magic trick if you dont know how it is done, it seems real.
A lot of people would not think of searching for a phone number in the search box of twitter or facebook. People just try google. And if you have a really common name, you think that gives you extra protection as well.
Clearly if you are a fake psychic and you have been invited to appear on a documentary, you are gonna make damn sure you get things right.

I wonder after that exposure whether that guy who 'communicated' with the dead, still thinks he has mediumistic skills. I bet he still does. How would he convince himself he's still the real deal after looking a complete idiot. Reading of a note-pad - it does't get more blatant than that.

I am sure he will make an excuse if questioned and say he was edited badly, usual nonsense.

that was a great documentary. Interesting how the cameras caught him looking at the notes on the table. Bet he feels a right idiot now.
