Hello, my name is Geraint, I have always been interested in the paranormal/Psycics/Mediums since the age of only 9 years. I am always searching for alternative explanations and try to seperate fact from fiction. To be truthful, I do believe ghosts/spirits do exsist through personal expeiriances I have felt and seen in the past with my ownb eyes but must stress that I do not claim to be a Medium or psycic of any kind. I learnt about this site after learninng that Mr Acora was branded a "faker" of which I did see the footage and that of other self celebraty acclaimed psycics. Great to see people like that outed as I detest people conning others who have lost their loved ones! Please feel free to contact me should you wish to ask me anything about my own, personal experiances with the paranormal if it truly exists. I'm open minded still! Geraint!!

Welcome to the forum Geraint I would love to believe in an afterlife but no evidence exists that there is such a thing - Please tell us of your experiences - usually no matter how real things appear at any given time, there is always that alternative explanation which is far more plausible for any apparent paranormal happenings. I used to be a paranormal investigator and visited many allegedly haunted locations and I have seen mediums, even got a reading from Colin Fry a good few years ago! Yet I still have no evidence whatsoever and remain truely unconvinced.

Hi All,
Came across the site after googling for reviews on David Traynor (I've written my bit on his page). Some interesting stuff on here. Me, well I really don't know, mainly I think it's all a load of nonsense but every now and again I think maybe there's something in it but mainly I just take it all as a bit of fun. As hobbies go, it's better than mugging grannies. I'm not an avid follower of these things but every now and again, if I see an ad for a local gig by someone, we may go along if there's nowt on telly worth watching.
Another thing, despite me spending years and years as a secretary (I'm now a PA - ooh, get me!) and able to type approx 90/100wpm accurately, I cannot for the life of me, type on a lappy so please just skip over the typo's.
Any Q's, just ask

Hey I'm a newbie lol I'm Colette, I'm 28 and I'm a full time mum. I lost my husband in 2010 and had a bad experience with a psychic, hence one of the reasons for being here. Just thought I'd say hiiiiiiii

About 6 weeks after he died, I stupidly went to a psychic thinking all would be grand. I thought wrong, she told me my husband was mad at me because of kissed another man so soon after his death (I hadn't I was too distraught), she also told me that I needed to get my youngest daughter checked for autism (she was 5 months old at the time), I was told that my mum was also in spirit (she's pretty much alive) and that she was also angry at me because of life choices (no idea what they would be, I'm a geek, don't drink anything apart from tea, don't really go out unless it's with the kids, never touched a drug in my life, work full time). She told me that if I didn't change the bad things in my life, I'd end up in prison :/

Regarding what this psychic said, I must say it is rare for them to say that. But regardless 100% of psychics are fakes. So if you can take one thing from this bad experience, it is to never waste your money on such a fraud again. Any chance you have a recording of the reading? Or can name the psychic involved?

I don't have a recording I'm afraid. She was a lady from around my area, she's called Karen. Charged me £25 for that reading. There's another lady too though, but not sure if I'm allowed to name here?

Oh believe me I learned that lesson the hard way. There's a few on Facebook I'm abit suspicious about......Terrsa Welsh spirit medium....had 2 reading with her, both started out exactly the same. Debra Davies....she seems dodgy in herself, out to make money etc, lolly-anne psychic medium....it kicked off on her page a couple of weeks ago, apparently 23 people booked a reading with her and all recieved the exact same reading

Why do you keep booking readings with mediums/psychics? Do you accept they are all fake now?

I do I haven't had one for way over 14months. It's just sad and frustrating seeing vulnerable folk paying for info that anyone could come up with. Annoys the life out of me

I may as well introduce myself here since I've been doing a lot of reading here lately. My name is Debbie, I live in New York City and I just lost my husband of 37 years last month. I've always been a skeptic about these types of things but i'd call it an open minded skeptic. I remember watching John Edwards crossing over and also James van Praagh and hoping it was all true. I've never had a reason to even consider seeing a medium until my husband passed. Honestly it was my first thought. I did find one through a recommendation and was a little disappointed because I expected more specific information though I did hang onto the things I felt did fit. Then started my quest to find another medium and how I found this site.

Also quick note, to be a skeptic you have to be open minded by its very definition, You cant be a close minded skeptic, such things do not exist.

Yes you're right It just seems there are more non believers here than skeptics, at least that's how I see it. Thank you for the welcome.

Dont confuse yourself over the terminology, it really isn't important, all that is important is what is real and what is not, everything else doesn't matter.
