Yes I have watched it from day one. I absolutely love it. Season finale was this evening, which I have taped, but haven't watched it as yet.

I've only seen the promos for "Ghost Whisperer", but the impression I get is that they take a more supernatural-fantasy approach to their subject matter, perhaps a bit more sensational. The finale is apparently coming down to a battle between good and evil. "Medium" is somewhat more realistic, if that makes sense. The character of Alison is a (mostly) ordinary housewife who just happens to talk to ghosts. And has a knack for solving murders. All in a day's work...

The season finale of Ghost Whisperer was this past Friday night. If anyone has being following the show, the season finale was a shocker!
As for Medium, yes it is more believable. It has great acting, which keeps me tuned in every week.

It's not too shabby if you watch it like the entertainment it is. Some people I knew say that it's "well researched" and "like watching themselves".... Rubbish. Why is it then that Ms. Hewitt can say "Your father is here. He's telling me about his old love letters he sent to your mum that're under your bed." yet these people, at best, can say "Hmmm... I'm picking up a female energy, first name beginning with M or N."

I love the show. It's a nice bit of fantasy to watch, and always has a happy ending.

I still watch Ghost Whisperer as I like the mushy bits but always hope that a bit of JVP will be in there. In an interview that James Van Praagh had a while ago he mentioned there was spirit activity in dental surgeries. Okay I thought as my tooth throbbed away. In last weeks episode Jennifer Love Hewitt mentioned something about spiritual activity in dental surgeries. Boy can't you just tell that JVP is one of the countless executive producers of the show. There you have it, watching the programme paid off. ;D

I kind of enjoy watching it, it's fairly well acted and produced and the fact that it's a clear fantasy make watching easier. Medium is pretty much pants - she bullies everyone and is just obnoxious. At least JLH's character seems to understand that people don't want to talk to her!

We've just finished watching the first season DVD. I enjoyed it. J L Hewitt bugs the b***cks off me though.

Ah, well, we are on internet time not a year behind in the UK time But we didn't mention that she found she was pregnant after hubby dies, and her friend from the shop was actually her adopted brother (after he had a sex change), and Charlene & Scott sneak off to get married... Sorry bout that. How abut we do what Digitalspy forum does, and mark each thread to show whether it is talking about UK or USA pace? Then like me with jaffa cakes, you can decide whether to partake or not

I've just been watching John Edward and was interested to see him being (rather perfunctorily) shown round the set of Ghost Whisperer by James Van Praagh. JVP reckons that spirits often show up on the set, either by interfering with props or appearing as a misty shape around the star. (Edward's back to what he does best now, cold reading at breakneck pace. 'Can you see an intersection from your house? Did you once paint the front doorstep? Is your grandmother in spirit? etc' I can say 'yes' to all those. The reading's obviously really for me. ;D )
