Just acquired this: Fringe episode 1 epguides describes it as: "A research scientist and an FBI agent team up to investigate paranormal activity. " www.epguides.com/Fringe/tv.com says: "FBI agents Olivia Dunham and Peter Bishop are faced with a rapidly spreading unexplained phenomenon of the threatening kind. In an attempt to stop the spread, they enlist the assistance of Bishop's estranged father, the institutionalized scientist Dr. Walter Bishop." www.tv.com/fringe/show/75146/summary.htmlwatching it now.

Just started in Australia...not sure what to make of it yet.
Watched the 2nd episode last night and wasn't that impressed and then was totally p*ssed with myself for missing the new season of House on the other channel.
Must get the HDD manual out and set it for next week

They used After Effects, 3D Max and Particular to create it. J.J. also wrote the music for the intro. I dont know which Derek you are referring to?

OK I've watched about 10 episodes of this now. Its very entertaining if you are scientifically thick, but even if you are slightly familiar with science its very very woo and silly. Its like they let rupert sheldrake direct the series
