Well i only found out today that if you plug a spare Virgimedia cable directlyinto the back of your tv (With an adapter) you can pick up a few channels!
Channels I found BBC 1, 2, News24 and Parliment ITV1 Ch4 Ch5 QVC ITV2 (Scrambled) Sky Sports 1 (Scrambled)
And a few more that were scrambled and couldn't see what they were.
Ok so this is pointless to the majority of people, but if you dont have an arial on your roof, but you do have Virginmedia, with a splitter box and some extra cabling, it means you can watch the channels mentioned above in cable quality on a TV in a different room.
Not brilliant I know, but there might be someone out there who doesnt have a roof arial, but has got an old VM cable sticking out of the wall doing nothing.
However if you connect the cable to a freeview box, it wont pick anything up unfortunately, as it is working on a different band i believe.
A bad ass who will beat you like he's using the fists of god.
This is been known for a good while also plug it into the back of your radio if you have a connection or white wire just touch the end of the wire to it for an experiment and you'll get some audio feeds through the radio (dunno if they have switched this off yet) But also to note if you have a Television that picks up VHF Low and High you get E4 and others Try it. But do us a favour be carefull not to cross the outer braiding (static shock lol)
