Hi All,
Me and my partner went to watch David Traynor on the 10th at the Citadel in his and my home town of St.Helens. I actually live just around the corner from his hairdressing salon. (All his ghosts have the same haircut and build)
I really wanted to record the whole thing but due to restrictions and CBS recording the event we was not even allowed to bring electrical equipment into the hall, the seats was too pressed against each other to write anything down.
So the event itself was amazing, i mean really fantastic. Mr Traynor really is the star of his own delusion. It started off with the usual, clear yes and clear No. It became clear that No was a pointless thing to say during a reading as he just said he was right and you was wrong. (Same technique as Tony Stockwell)
So that aside we listened and watched him build up answers from nothing and in the first half it seemed okay as in entertaining and dramatic but nothing to prove psychic ability.
The interval me and my partner went outside and was chatting and i mentioned i was going to write something on bad psychics so people can get a feel of the night and make their own minds up.
Second half and this information must of spread like hot fire as he comes out with a instant disclaimer that he never makes things up and everything is genuine.
The disclaimer over he starts going on again, but this time he looked like he was trying very hard, much harder than the first half, he was talking to that curtain, yes you heard right, he got his information from a curtain.
He had lots of conversations with this black curtain and i would of loved to have been the other side and gone 'boo'.
Anyway getting back to mediumship, he started to get less 'hits' and lots more No's and one reading he started to look quite bad, about these twin boys in the spirit world. This lady was not taking any of it, but then he said, 'listen go and look on those websites, there is one website it will be on that, i am 100% sure'. I am not the brightest person in the world but to me that sounded like he had done a little research.
He also knew the three big deaths that has happened in Haydock, which is lucky really as his mum lives there, would not like him to miss those out now, would we.
I have looked at the thread on psychopaths, well Mr Traynor did do one thing which went beyond entertainment sick and into the world of just pure sick. Every person who cried the 'ghost' wanted to touch them, in which he let the little darling boy touch mummy or the gran touch the granddaughter. It was uncomfortable to watch as he told these tearful people to expect a 'woosh of cold air'. The purpose of this sick act was to drag out the fact he had said very little of any meaning to anyone.
So my conclusion on Mr Traynor, he is an extremely entertaining person at times and does love to talk to curtains, he had no ear piece in, but was well researched. He did directly lie once in saying he did not know where an area was in st.Helens, its an area in which everyone who lives in st.helens or ever lived here would know.
I did not buy the fact his guide told him Peasley cross (opposite the only hospital we have in St.Helens)
I found some of his methods to pad out the drama very sick and twisted. I was deeply concerned with a lady who lost her unborn child and this child wanted to touch his mummy, i did nearly cry at that sort of fraud.
I would not recommend seeing him, but if you do the above is what you can expect.
Thanks
John
