A god who has no respect for women...surely not!
1 Timothy 2.11-12 - "Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."

OK I'll see your Timothy and raise you by Ecclesiastes
Ecclesiastes 1.18
"In much wisdom is much grief; and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow."
So...that'll be no reading ,no experimenting ,no questions ,no thinking ..... in fact just shut up and do as you're told.

This is why the sick die at the hands of the ignorant who believe these words Children of the ignorant have no choices.
James 5:14-15 New International Version (NIV) 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.

Amaris , I recall you being in the caring profession so I found this one just for you .... its a little more technical than some ....
Leviticus 14.2,32
"This shall be the law of the leper."
God's law for lepers: Get two birds. Kill one. Dip the live bird in the blood of the dead one. Sprinkle the blood on the leper seven times, and then let the blood-soaked bird fly away. Next find a lamb and kill it. Wipe some of its blood on the patient's right ear, thumb, and big toe. Sprinkle seven times with oil and wipe some of the oil on his right ear, thumb and big toe. Repeat. Finally find another pair of birds. Kill one and dip the live bird in the dead bird's blood. Wipe some blood on the patient's right ear, thumb, and big toe. Sprinkle the house with blood 7 times.
That's all there is to it.
PS. Keep it under your hat ...the way things are going they'll be introducing it into the NHS soon.

PS. Keep it under your hat ...the way things are going they'll be introducing it into the NHS soon. Absolutely! It seems I am left angry and confused by the logic of any government and their cuts on a regular basis, you try and fight back with logical reasoning but no one is listening... will be waiting for this because I am sure it is on it's way!

I have decided I want to stone some little sods who hang about at the end of the road, is there anything in the bible that will allow me to stone children to death?

PS. Keep it under your hat ...the way things are going they'll be introducing it into the NHS soon. Not a chance, NICE won't allow the cost of two birds and a lamb sacrifice. They might allow a couple of McDonalds Crispy Strips and a Tesco minted lamb burger.

Can't find one for stoning kids yet ... but you may be able to work something out from this .... if you are prepared to shave your hair and hire a couple of bears.
From there Elisha went up to Bethel.
While he was on his way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him.
"Go up baldhead," they shouted, "go up baldhead!"
The prophet turned and saw them, and he cursed them in the name of the Lord.
Then two shebears came out of the woods and tore forty two of the children to pieces.
(2 Kings 2:23-24 NAB)
(It seems child care was never a strong point for the religious.)

" A man or a woman who acts as a medium or fortuneteller shall be put to death by stoning; they have no one but themselves to blame for their death. " (Leviticus 20:27)

I have decided I want to stone some little sods who hang about at the end of the road, is there anything in the bible that will allow me to stone children to death? Deuteronomy 21:18-21 New International Version (NIV) A Rebellious Son 18 If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, 19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. 20 They shall say to the elders, “This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.” 21 Then all the men of his town are to stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.
