You always have a home here, and people who will listen too. Thank you Jon. One way or another it’s been a bad three years. First a close girl friend had a stroke, then my magician friend Tony passed away, then I was diagnosed with diabetes and subsequently Polycythemia vera (a type of blood cancer) which is incurable. With all that I haven’t felt like doing much but I’ve got to get a grip and start living my life again.

With all that I haven’t felt like doing much but I’ve got to get a grip and start living my life again. One thing I always preach is to try and be positive, always. There are no walls in the road, just obstacles to either overcome, or make the best of. And yes you have to start living your life again, and take up as many opportunities as you can. Feeling sorry for yourself achieves very little. Try to get yourself as healthy as possible, eat healthy, exercise and so on. Everything helps, and a positive outlook along with a healthy lifestyle can really improve your life. I know it can be hard, but it really is the best decision. Nothing worse than going the other way, eating badly, drinking, smoking etc.

Welcome back you have been sorely missed, as Jon says there are always people here ready to listen. Hi Barb, Thank you for the kind words and warm welcome. I hope you're keeping well. I'm making slow progress but at least I'm getting out more. I'm concentrating on the things I always loved to do, so with trips to the theatre, Cirque du Soleil and my first magic convention in 4 four years I'm not planning on being bored. Here's to a long and productive future for us all. Mr Jinx.

Paul Zenon behind the scenes on the Fall Guy. Have to admit I don't remember this but it seems to be some sort of 'you've been framed' programme.....

Just 5 weeks away from seeing Uri Geller at the Blackpool Magic Convention. Should be an interesting event, he's doing a show followed by a Q&A. Just how much he actually reveals remains to be seen. If I can get close enough I'm going to ask him to sign my copy of 'The Truth About Uri Geller by James Randi'. I wonder if he will? :-) Also scheduled is a seance hosted by Richard Wiseman, another event not to be missed.
I'll report back on both.
