I used to do an amazing trick, a friend of mine would wear a leather jacket, so when she wasn't looking I'd put a 2p coin on her shoulder. Then I'd go to the toilet, and when I came back I would straight up to her, and say I wanted to do magic, so I pulled up sleeves, got her to examine my hands and arms, I would then magic the 2p coin off her shoulder! She was amazed!
Leather was always good as the coin would grip to it for as long as you like

Mr Jinx says: I hate that trick. It's stupid in the extreme and should never be done using a spectators hand. I have no sympathy for the magician and really hope that that accident finishes his career so he can't hurt anyone else!

When a magician messes it up and hurts themself thats fine with me, their own stupidity, but to use someone elses hand is clearly not only stupid, but also very dangerous, looked like the nail went clean through, so she will probably be ok, but if that would have ripped a ligament or something, then that is permanent damage. I hope they sue the hell out of him, he never works again, and whatever else punishment they can think up.
Whats the official name for that trick?

Whats the official name for that trick? There are several different names for it - Smash n Stab, Nailed, Spiked, The Pain Game (though to be fair this version is safe) to name just a few.

Thanks. Always thought it was a cool trick when done correctly and without real risk.
