It took me a little wandering about but finally I found this 'Welcome To The Forum' section!

I'm 'mac' from various websites elsewhere and have been using that username since at least 2003. Here, though, I couldn't register it and later found a lurker - with no postings to his/her name - had snaffled it back in 2008. So I have to be 'unclemac' here unless an admin member can help?

I don't intend to be a lurker but that may depend on discussion topics. Once I have a feel for the website's character I might even start one myself....

I'm not a medium (Jon says they don't exist anyway) but can sometimes be psychic when the occasion is favourable. I'm unsure of how much I'll be the 'odd-one-out' on this website but hope I come over as a sceptical - rather than a cynical - individual.

Welcome to the forum Mac, I will assume you are the same Mac I have spoken to elsewhere.
However if you are impersonating him, I will know very quickly and you will be nuked faster than Kim Jong Un with an itchy trigger finger.

Also I have changed your display name to be Mac, however your login will remain the same.

Welcome to the forum, please read the rules on the paranormal section with regards to the promotion of mediumship and you should be ok.

I have seen first hand the mental and psychological damage done to victims of psychics and mediums but it took the death of my dad in June last year to provide me with the ability to truly appreciate how vulnerable grief can make a person. Hi all. I'm new here with this account, not new to badpsychics in general, I was a member for many years leading to 2010 when I was widowed and lost contact with the site to the point I can't even remember my user name. On the note of widowhood I've had some truly fascinating encounters with psychics, I'm not saying I believe any more than I used to, maybe I'm a bit less aggressive in my denial? I look forward to discussing and no doubt being exposed as naieve and weak minded!

Thanks Girlseeksghosts. I would be truly interested to share my experiences and see what everyone thinks. I have to say that for myself there was no aspect of being exploited, I got exactly what I went for and wanted, true or fraud.

I would love to hear about your experiences and perhaps give an opinion.
Any chance you recorded any of them?

Also there is no interest from me to exposing anyone as weak minded or naive.
The most important thing for me is for people to learn from their mistakes, and grow as a person.
A weak minded person is someone who keeps making the same mistakes and never learns.

We have all been fooled before all of us, me included. Education is the answer to everything so don't feel bad about any experiences you had, instead let them empower you to become a better person.

I honestly prefer recordings as that is something physical that can be analysed. Sadly human memory is incredibly bad. Like we are ridiculously bad at remembering things as they happened, however much we think we do.

And as skeptics we have to be as strict in what we claim as we expect psychics to be.
So relying alone on what amounts to an anecdote, however much we may agree with it, is never the best way to go, and it is always better to be able to look at something objectively which works best with a recording as it can be transcribed and then analysed step by step etc.

But feel free to start a thread anyway in the paranormal/psychics section of the forum and we can discuss somethings about it with or without the recording.

Hi I'm Suzi I came across this site a while ago in temper but now I come in peace! I have spoken to thousands of psychics and spent lots and lots of money. I've had a horrible time and reached out to these people to avoid driving off a cliff!! 3 years later I survived but am completely over it all. I tried at the time to report, rant and rave but soon realised I had paid these people and contacted them using my own "free will" but of course these readings were for entertainment purposes. I'm over it but not quite I originally came on here to find particularly believable psychics and mediums just so I could trash them and let some of the pent up anger go!! Sadly didn't find any but looks interesting so thought Id hang around as have plenty of time on my hands because my illness was real and not pent up negativity as I was constantly told and no you guessed my twin flame didn't come for me he did turn out to be a pervert on the net! Oh well hi anyway!

Thankyou for your warm welcome! Has anyone had any experience with Psychic Sofa? I have many stories to tell as these are the real culprits behind the false prophets preying on the vulnerable and needy as I once was not not anymore! I would love to expose each and every one of the psychics and let's not forget the management who are making a killing, as I recovered and confidence grew I started to switch it round and give the readers readings!! I'm not a psychic just a good talker and they all thought I was the second coming! Which just shows the Cali record of people on there!!!!!!
