A High Street lingerie chain has provoked a storm of controversy after launching an underwear line for girls as young as five. I agree with this statement, but there is nothing wrong with young girls wearing underwear thats a bit of fun......the images shown look okay. But there's a lot of 'tarty' looking stuff out there for young girls, it's not nice. La Senza Girls

LaSenza Girl has been around here for a while. They also carry clothing. I've never seen anything provocative at those stores. The bras are training bras. I don't know about the padded bras for youngsters since I've never seen them. But really, there's a Bratz doll that grows boobs and a butt, what are we expecting out of the youngsters who play with those? Of COURSE they'll want boobs.

I buy a lot of my underwear from La Senza, and just had a look at the range for the young girls and none of the items they are selling are deemed to be provocative, in my opinion. I can't see what all the fuss is about, i'd have bought the items for my daughter if she were younger (i think she'd be a bit put out if i got her them now she's 20 though ) Great over reaction from the newspapers as usual, i can only see this as being a positive thing for La Senza, as it's going to give them free advertising.

A pedophile heaven. Anything to make money It disturbs me that you link a young girls choice (or her parents choice) of underwear to paedophilic acts. Can we please make it VERY clear that regardless of what a child wears, there will NEVER EVER be any provocation on the child's part to encourage paedophiles. As I female, I can vividly remember my first bra being the most uncomfortable piece of clothing ever. The changeover from vest to bra just felt totally wrong. Had I had the choice of a crop top to wear in the summer months, I'm sure the transition would have been a lot less uncomfortable.

It's the Daily Mail, it is their job to be outraged unfortunately. I could not agree more. It's just moral outrage from the likes of the Daily Mail and the holier than thou brigade. They love to turn everything into Sodom and Gomorrah. You'd think porn was the worst thing in the world. They turn so much into something sexual in the name of selling newspapers. If anything it is the likes of them that sexualise everything not those they wish to attack. Frankly I am fed up with the moralists who tell us how we should or should not live our lives. It is none of their business what I do as long as I am not hurting anyone. So many of those who seem to moralise seem to be the most immoral. Look at the church and abuse or all those Tory MP's who got caught out during the Back to Basics campaign or all those Labour and Lib Dem MP's who have been caught out after campaigning on morals and taking the moral high ground. My favourite was a very morally religious and right wing columnist on a well known national political magazine in the UK who was later exposed as enjoying spanking young men out of hours. Hoisted by his own petard ;D

I just had a look at thier website and the clothes there seemed to me like any you would find in every girls high street clothing chain in Britain. I'm surprised that La Senza has been singled out when I've seen really really young girls walking round wearing Playboy merchandise....

There's a La Senza in York but I've never been inside. I'm more of a "cheap-multipack-of-knickers-off-the-market" sort of woman.

I'm a kind of non knicker woman ...unless there is a great need to wear some, and sometimes in certain situations knickers can be good to wear but mostly not Was that too much info? Sorry, but I will leave it as I'm sure it is of great scientific research to professional people who will need this to finish their national poll of yes/no knicker wearing females of the UK edited to add ..I have a feeling I may delete this tomorrow after a good night's sleep

Blimey! Am I in a shrinking minority of knicker-wearing females? Or do you just enjoy the thrill of living dangerously in a strong wind?
