The object is exactly what it is billed - a UFO. It's an object, it's flying, and it's unidentifyable so strictly speaking it's a true UFO.
As for its origins there are a number of possible explainations. It is a shame when every single piece of evidence that's put up for scrutiny is labelled as "Photoshop" or "CGI" because that loses the power of debate. Also, with the increasing availability of powerful computers and powerful software we are getting to a stage where absolutely everything unusual ever caught on camera has lost its right to fair debate because of CGI and Photoshop.
Yes it could be CGI animation, but that does not automatically rule out possibilities such as government craft experiments, light helium balloons that're caught in a draft, ball lightning... etc. It's fun to debate what could have caused such phenomena, especially when all opinions are considered and added to potential arguements for and against possibilities.
In my opinion the light recorded was in the sky at the time. The blur of the object matches the blur of the trees in the frame. However, since there is nothing that the light goes behind or in front of depth perception is totally lost and potential size and difference cannot be calculated. The blur of the light as it speeds off also looks authentic to the original footage to me. As for what the light could be exactly is something I'm sure I'll never know thus, to me, it's a UFO.

Yes, in your opinion. The point is though that whatever it is none of us actually saw it in the sky. So we don't know whether it was flying. I like to read other peoples ideas. I might learn something from another if everyone pools their ideas together. To not want to listen to others shows that you are only valuing your own opinion.

exactly, and thats also the general point of constructive argument also realy. if someone isnt willing to listen to the thoughts opinions of others then theres no point in airing your own views as you have defeated yourself before you have even started. if someone isnt willing to listen to the opinions of others then why even be on a site such as this, just sit back in their own world of self opinionated smugness and ignore all else around them with the exception of their own opinion.

Yes i was rude and I'm sorry about that. I was out of line. It's just that the day i wrote this, almost every commend i read that he made was kinda explained away by CGI. And that pissed me off after a while. I made that thread for other peoples opinions of course, and not to flame people. And again I'm sorry that i did so none the less.

Apology accepted, I guess it was pure bad luck on your part to read my three? comments something could be CGI, ofcourse what you should realise even though. it may not be true it is a possibility. That was what we were discussing, the possibilities. I have no animosity towards you rocktron, I guessed you were having a bad day or something.

But still no reason to flame another person for it and I'm sorry. I know most stuff we find on TV and the net are faked. UFOs, The Snowman, Nessie, ghosts... etc etc, and that sucks because i believe in life on other planets and after life. I had some amazing personal experiences in my past with 2 of the above (UFOs and Ghosts, not with the Incredible snowman or The monster from Loch Ness (yet) ;D ) I don't believe everything that people claim as real, but i really think that there is something out there we can't understand yet. Kick the fakers.

Well Its feasible that we are not the only planet in the vast expanse of the universe with life on it, or even intelligent life. I believe in the possibility of ET's ,and UFO's do actually exist but whether they are extraterrestial in nature I am not qualified to say.
What I cannot figure out though is why travel light years to earth dodging dangerous levels of radiation and unknown interstellar perils along the way, using incredible amounts of fuel and supplies enroute to earth and then the decidedly dodgy entry through the upper atmosphere just to land in Blandsville USA and remove the ass from a cow and then anally probe a random redneck?
It defies logic, or at least human logic.

I know they found them already but they just keep us paying for oil to stay rich themselves. Why should 'Aliens' do the effort to check us out? Heh hehehe. because we are a funny dumb species btw, do you know what your name means here in Holland? bobdezon? Bob de zon = Bob The sun

btw, do you know what your name means here in Holland? bobdezon? Bob de zon = Bob The sun bob_dezon is not my name, it is simply a nom de plume I use online, it comes from my characters in diablo2 they were all called bob, yup all of them. It was a small retaliation against the rather serious sounding names people chose for their characters. bob dezon was my amazon character "bob the amazon", shortened to bobdezon. My real name is Paul.
