Well i thought from the way he and Yvette were with each other during the ghastly Midsummer Murders series it was on the cards, and the way he was treated during the last live was awful. How was he treated? I can't even remember, must've nodded off with the last live.

I quite liked David Wells,
Evil Karl and Yvette were really horrible to David at the last (live) MH. At one point, (I'm trying to remember here guys - no mystery, I'm just old) Karl and Yvette were doing stuff that David was asking that they don't do. And again, if I remember right, didn't Karl do an evil spell on the sly and then tell David what he did, after. It was something like that, I know David got very upset with them. They are such a horrible pair, s*it, I don't want to speak to them and I'm alive.

Karl and Stu(pid) had previously done something which was apparently dangerous, and then on the 'live' show, they had a lie-down on the floor, looked up at the ceiling and said some words which supposedly bring about certain death, despite Wells imploring them not to do it. I think that's it, anyway. In other words, Wellsie felt left out and disregarded and did a little flounce.

Yes, but it was a flounce with a certain amount of style,
Stu tried the same thing but threw himself down the stairs!
Both made me giggle which probably makes me evil 'ponders'

So what's the real reason then? What did David do wrong? Must have been something because I don't think you can just leave if you made a pact with Yvette can you? It would be easier to get out of a pact with the Devil !! Angelic

MH was quite interesting in the first couple of series....mainly for the places they went to like Drury Lane Theatre, Branigans in Manchester, Aldwych tube station....which WERE very fascinating places....
...However it was never a serious Investigative programme....just pure "Entertainment" .....indeed in an early live MH they did a Seance with some invited Audience members outside (it was a New Years Eve one I think).....this guy began "Going into trance" etc....and reporting his "Visions"....you could see Yvette visibly getting more and more irritated with this "Ordinary chap" trying to become a "Co-Star" of HER show.....!!!
it just cracked me up ! - Anyone remember that one....?
I still watch....and secretly hope that one week...something utterly TERRIFYING....like a "White Lady" with a grinning Skull face.... .....will come gliding silently up behind Baldy old Stuart Torreville....as he films his own face (for the zillionth time....) and says:
"I'm not here to HARM you...."
....I wait and hope....;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D

I think that was the York race course one. The one where the lovely wotsisface...Matthew thing... thought he saw two ghosts gliding by and it turned out it was just a couple taking a short cut across the race track.

I quite liked David Wells, he was the direct oppopsite of Degsy in some respects, which made for a rather dull medium (more medium-rare to Derek's over done!)
I wouldn't say Wells was perfect but then again mediumship is not an exact science; but the way he has been treated by Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dummer is quite dreadful to the point of being outrageous and slanderous.
I do hope Wells resigned rather than got the push, I also hope he does a "reveal-all" and stuff any possible disclosure-contract deal.

I actually found David palletable - more so than the plethora of flamboyant so-and-so's that have cropped up on MH over the years. I'm quite dismayed that he's been exposed as a fake...I thought the guy was genuine for a long time.

I am sorry that David Wells left M H L . He was quite good, I realy miss him. He at times gave the show some credibility. As for the medium [AND I USE THE TERM LOOSELY] who has replaced him, Brian Sheperd . Well what can I say other than, what a fake this man is. Bring back Derek, at least he was and I hope still is a SHOWMAN. We knew he was faking it ,but it was entertaing to watch. B S just makes you want to cringe in embarrassment.

Totally agree barb. I don't know whether David's the real deal or not but at least manners and personality made up for any fakery. DA was as false as they come but his antics made up for the lousy performance. Brian Shepard doesn't have anything. I've got the voodooo night on favourites from the Halloween live. It's truly cringeworthy and well worth watching the team convince themselves it's real lol.

Why is Brian Sheperds name not in the bad psychics list yet. It should be on the top .This man stands alone. He is the bad psychic.

I stopped watching just after Wells joined the Circus, he seemed an affable sort of bloke and probably believed most of what he said on air. I suspect he jumped just before he was pushed and we all know who does the pushing on MH. I think Dirk and Sam Google should return to the fold, at least they/he was entertaining because after all MH is just light entertainment. Any attempt at objective investigation went our the window many many epistimodes ago.
