I have just recieved this email from the Chief Executive of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, they are keeping an eye of Nina Knowland.
"Dear Hayley
Thank you for bringing to our attention details of the newspaper article from Nina Knowland. We do share your concerns about this, as with other such promises or statements, many of which can cause considerable harm, especially to those who are desperate or vulnerable.
We will cetrtainly keep an eye on the situation and if the problem rears its head at all, we will certainly do something about it.
We are reluctant to put anything on our website or our message board about this, as it may attract more attention than it repels and gives exposure and advertising opportunity to such people. It also entitles them to contribute in a variety of ways, so we will do nothing of this nature for the moment, but will certainly keep a careful eye on the situation.
Thank you again for bringing it to our attention.
With kind regards, Rosie Barnes Chief Executive Cystic Fibrosis Trust "

Yes I thought so too, and at least we know now that the trust are aware of her.

Good to see someone is watching her.....and yes I agree them not putting her on their site, I hate the publicity they even get on forums like this one but someone has to expose them.

A bit more on the Nina Knowland saga: www.skeptics.org.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=1665&page=2Well, that explains everything, doesn't it? We simply haven't studied people like Nina and know very little about them. Something tells me that Nina is in for a VERY easy ride with the SSPR (not to be confused with Glasgow University).

Tricia Robertson is a bloody psychic herself, so how on earth can she be a credible person to test Nina?
This is the idiot who tested Gordon Smith i believe too.

Roy & Robertson just annoy the ass offa me. They really are useless. Mmm, interesting. Could you share some info about their methods? I'm also intrigued by the fact that Robertson is a medium, which rather shatters the illusion of scientific neutrality fostered on Knowland's site.

Methods? ;D Their modus operandi is ridiculously simple to follow. Believe any old s*ite, and tell people it must be true because they are "experts" and have "experience" and "they couldnt possibly be fooled". They wouldnt know objectivity if it jumped up and bit them on the ass. Its the Roys, Sheldrakes, Schwartz's that the woos think makes their claims have scientific respectablity. Unfortunately they are all kooks.

I wonder why Nina didn't come on this forum and pretend not to be herself and argue the toss and NOT answer questions people were giving her.

The woman should start a career as a stand-up comedienne in my opinion, on the strengh of her recent antics.

One problem with that...a comedienne knows they are being funny and silly...for some reason I get the feeling Nina doesn't know that she is.

True. She seems to be labouring under the misapprehension that she is a gangland boss or a towering intellect.

You have clearly never heard of the "woo-woo" mafia of Wiltshire.

I love the fact that she now states the Police are involved "at a local level" and not to do with her healing.... you think she's been arrested for something else?.....

I don't know what she means when she says that.

Why did she even mention that? As a way of getting out of making any further replies, was it?
Signed - Confuddled of Merseyside.

Well if the police were involved with the "outing" of her claims, what could they do? pretty much Nada.
