Just seen an advert for a workshop at The College of Psychic Studies in London hosted by Annie Bowen entitled "Working as a Medical Intuitive"
"Healers, would you like to work as a medical intuitive? In this workshop we will explore our intuition, to discover what blocks it and what makes it flow. We will use techniques to raise awareness and to tune into patterns held within the energy fields that may inform us about dis-ease. Come and trust in your intuition and see where it leads you. Small group to allow for individual attention. Please bring paper and crayons."
Sort of says it all to me.....

God, do these idiots have no sense of the ridiculous? Do they even read what they've typed? Crayons, forsooth - what a wonderful reflection of the infantile nature of woo!

P&T Bulls*it did a good segment on this and when the bloke said that these abilities are pre-thought, they wondered if he was just describing how he got them to pay for his classes ;D

No Long answer (as not to let you down).... I personally believe 'workshops' and 'circles' to be a load of bulls*it and therefore would not waste my time/money on them.

You 'believe' You don't need to take a catering course to know that food is burnt. Working on your principle, I would also have to partake in a course in Reiki, Dowsing, Remote Viewing, Spoon Bending, a course in 'Goblin Therapy' and 7 sessions spread over 4 months to learn how to trace my roots back to a Unicorn trainer in Atlantis. I just don't have the time (or the need in my life to surround myself with such people who take it seriously). Why would attending a 'workshop' change anything for me?

You 'believe' And its not a belief, its an opinion, based on a lack of evidence to change that opinion.

[I just don't have the time (or the need in my life to surround myself with such people who take it seriously). Really? Yet you do surround yourself with them, whilst tearing them apart. I agree what you do is right, I just thought you would have wanted to experience it from that side........for your amusement factor as much as anything.

I would last about 5 minutes before they threw me out. I have 'experienced' enough after sitting in front of 19 'Mediums' and through research, I'll be damned if I'm going to sit in the same room as them and listen to them talking about 'Vibrations'....
