 This sort of thing worries me slightly - not because I don't want to die horribly (although I don't) but because that poor soul could have been out skipping through the cornfields or rolling about with puppies instead of spending ages concocting all that end-of-the-world-again stuff. I would pay money to be somewhere that I could see the look on the faces of these people when they wake up on the appointed day and the world is still there. Would it be relief or disappointment? Hmmm... |

Its true...the world will end... in around 7.5 billion years give or take a few million..I think we will have about 1 billion years of life left on this planet as the biospere starts to deteriorate. Put it this way I wouldnt think about cancelling the National Geographic subscription just yet. Let the bible nuts have their fun. |

An article in the daily mail says bith the ancient Mayans and the chinese predict December 21 2012 is the day. So no need to panic just yet.

December 21. Thats just an annoying kick in the bollox, can't it be after Christmas. Anyway the world has been going to end for years, did anyone watch conspiracies on Sky 1 in like 2004. They said there was a code in the bible and the world was gonna end in 2006. There was this guy who was like going insane warning everyone, telling them it was going to end in 2006. Id lUUUUUV to see the look on his face when he woke up on January 1 07 lol  |

Yes I remember watching a documentary ages ago about the Mayan calendar, they believe in cycles and after so many years something cataclysmic happens to change the earth and so begin another cycle. According to those great experts that pop up all the time  the next expected great change is Dec 2012. Mind you other "experts" are predicting a shift in the magnetic poles soon....could that be the big changeover??? Maybe the Mayans are right...or are those experts believers in the Mayans and so predicted magnetic pole shifting?  ? oooooh too much thinking!!!!  |
