I actually know Chip Coffey, and, although a decent person, he makes his living doing the psychic thing. He has his own show now called "Psychic Kids" and, well, I'll leave it at that. Anything with Lorraine Warren will make me disbelieve it, even if the ghost smacked me in the face. Make sure you don't say or write the demon's name! You know, the one that's been following this college student around for his whole life... I know this thread is old, but I had to say something.

I found this story as suspect as the ones on the show. I figured the family were getting static from the town for bringing up what is obviously a sore subject all over again and so decided to pretend they were 'duped'. But if the wife was one of the best pyschics in the world why didn't she know all the bad stuff up front and personal? Why didn't her 'spirit guides' give her the heads up about it? Perhaps because her 'ability' is no more legite than the show's? As for the person who wrote the 'expose'; she comes across as little more than a very disgruntled ex-employee/girlfriend. A sort of ' how dare you fire/dump me!! I know how to get back at you though....nyah!!" Judging by the level of vitriole levelled at Ryan Buelle I'm assuming he's the one who did the firing/dumping; remember gentlemen, "heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned; nor hell a fury like a woman scorned" (curtesy of William Congreve's play 'The Mourning Bride - and the man knew his females obviously). Of course that's just my opinion though. As for Chip Coffeey; I like the guy - he does what he does well, and we all have a to make a living. He's one of the better actors at this though I will say that, and my daughter likes him. I don't think he's that bad as the 'victim's' on this programme are only doing it for their 5 minutes of fame and so I reckon ' no harm, no foul'. Lorraine Warren worries me, apart from the fact that she's so old she must fart dust now, I'm surprised she's still doing all this 'demon hunting' crap? I mean every time she arrives I say to my daughter "oh look Lorraine Warren's arrived, she'll say it's a demon" - sure enough before I've even finished the sentence she's saying it's not a ghost but a demon...... Personally the lady needs to find a nice porch and a rocking chair and leave the fake ghost hunting to the younger ones now - they're much funnier. I must say though the one I went hmmmm at was 'The Return of Six' - I did wonder after the first show whether they'd go back to her as she seemed to have developed a huge crush on Ryan and I figured a 'return' of the 'demon' would get Ryan back - sure enough it did. Personally I think the girl needs help from more than a priest and some teen ghost hunters as she obviously has issues.
