But what is negative energy, and how can you ascertain its presence? Good question... Hard to explain as im no expert but from my own experience... Well i cant see it...... but you can feel it. If somone had broken a wrist and it still hurts ( using a case i did) i can tell it was broken as when i put my hand over the area it Fizzes and i can feel heat from the area. Is that negative energy... well i cant prove it, but after treatment the pain went.. so to use a correct or incorrect term... i like to think ive moved the negative energy.

In such a scenario, would you be aware of the broken bone beforehand?
How soon after the session did the pain go, and did it last?
I don't think that it is negative energy which causes a broken bone to hurt, but I could be wrong. I would think that it is very important for the survival of the body that pain signals are transmitted. Besides, how can it be discernd that it was removal of negative energy which led to the easing of pain when this energy has not been measured before or after, or even identified objectively?
I'm not getting at you here, I'm just trying to fathom this whole 'energy' business out.

His pain went straight away... and could move the wrist a lot easier. He did get pain ( in the wrist ) whilst i was touching his head ( first place you put your hands for a treatment ) It lasted about 5 weeks ( ish ) like i said in a other thread, Reiki only helps, its not a cure. The word Negative energy is used in Reiki when removing or healing an area. Im not sure thats the correct terminology that should be used, but its a phrase thats used. I agree with your point, its not measured...so how can no method give an accurate conclustion... In scientific terms it cant.

There is no such thing as negative energy - it's one of those silly New Age concepts designed to make nonsense sound scientific. From BP's sister site
