I have just started watching the new programme on Living tv called Livig with the Dead.
I don't know what to make of this show really! It seems to me like everybody is badly acting especially Ian Lawman (being possessed) what it is with these psychics being possessed? this is becoming quite a popular pastime, is this what they have to do to make good television these days!!!
It just does not convince me whatsoever. Last week they had this middle age couple on and the wife was getting possessed by the spirit of the previous owner, to me it just seemed so put on. I don't believe you can be possessed by spirits!
Last nights show was filmed in Somerset where there used to be an old convent and now they are living quarters. There was an old tunnel near the building supposed to be haunted by a nun or dark evil entities and yet again Ian Lawman was possessed and then tried to get these entities into possessing the young girl so he could do his clearing, which obviously failed.
Anyway I would like to hear other peoples opinion on this show and what they make of it!

I haven't actually watched it myself, however I did see Toyah Wilcox on Loose Women last week talking about it as she believes her house is haunted and appears in an episode of the show. She wouldn't say what happened other than it was "Rather exciting" and of course a couple of her non believer friends were converted afterwards.
Edit: repeat after me check spelling before posting

it's total rubbish, if there is such a thing as a genuine medium they would NEVER ask somehow with no psychic experience to "channel spirits". the middle aged woman basically embarassed herself. i didn't think it would get worse but this week a young girl/woman was asked to "channel spirits" for him, it was dreadful and should never have been aired in my opinion. if there's a season 2 all i can day is i may gloss some skirting boards and watch them dry instread.

i don't know what ian lawman wants. again last night the show was dreadful. every episode has him telling them to get out at some point. why? all it does is instil fear into the occupants which gives it dramatic effect. he's never proved a single point or given any credible evidence for the viewers to see. derek acorah is, rightly so, mocked for his "possessions". basically ian lawman does the same thing but adds "get out" like some kind of warning. the people last night came across as intelligent but as soon as the lady talked about her possible psychic ability they jumped on it straight away. she sat in a bedroom, absolutely terrified, for all to see with no end results. i did get the impression that maybe some of the family members weren't all taken in by this farce but nevertheless they did it anyway. i think there's 2 episodes left in the series and so far, to me, it just gets worse. you can't get good reviews if you don't at least try to give viewers something credible to work on.
