on the last episode of most haunted's last series (i can't remember the name of the house) but it was formerly owned by two women who were said to be lovers many years ago. i know it was in wales. now i think the show is embarassing and getting worse. but there's one puzzle i can't work out. yvette and ciaran, etc, go into one of the ground floor rooms. just before they're going to leave mr shepard sparks up about a hidden room below. in comes leslie smith and states catagorically that he couldn't have known about it because she'd only been told by the architect three hours before. there's no way a fake like brian shepard (who's initials also stand for another phrase for cow poo) could have miraculously got this right. if MH ignore genuine facts from people like in chislehurst caves, surely they must have told him at the huge risk of being found out. does anyone agree? to me you can't go to italy, embarass MH that badly and then even more in the series then finally be so accurate.

Who's to say that the achitect also didn't tell Brian, or Brian wasn't in earshot when Leslie was being told? Also, if the architect is still alive then it can't be that old a building, surely?
You don't know what went on behind the scenes or what happened in these '3 hours'. The show is heavily edited and the team have been caught cheating on more than one occasion. That and Derek exposed on athe Live Brixham show that he had prior knowledge of a location by talking about a famous Berry Pomeroy Castle legend whilst at Lupton House (NOT Hall!)
I'm sure Brian has a long time during the walk around - much longer than the 20 or so minutes of the show dedicated to what he's saying. MH edit out all of the misses so that all we're hearing is what he hits. Who's to say that he doesn't tell the group that there's a hidden room in every big house they investigate, and because this was the first time he was actually right it was kept into the show.

yes, exactly. i mean, when MH went to italy it was a fantastic example of a LIVE show where there's no editing and only the best bits shown. on the third night, it opened as usual and after the typical advert breaks and introductions, etc, they eventually got to leslie smith. she described the history of the place the team were at. the monks who once inhabited the location (i can't remember the places name) were documented as taking village woman to where they resided and using them for devil worship. this was against their will as they believed they had gone there to worship God and do his will. the women were degraded and used in horrific ways for the monks pleasure. a while later yvette fielding ask brian shepard to describe what he could "sense". unbelievably, he totally contradicted leslie smith. i can't ever remember even derek acorah going to that extreme in such a short space of time and DA was shocking. back at the site where paul ross and leslie smith were, they had to somehow cover this up and i've got to say i would have failed miserably due to sheer disbelief in what he'd said. but yet he was there for the remaining 2 nights and the new series. i'm sure i would have made excuses and never had him on again. derek acorah did all that damage and yet they employ someone who is BLATANTLY as bad. where's their common sense? if they don't like critical reviews they shouldn't ask for them.

Seriously, the show isn't live in the true meaning of the word. There's a post by ADMIN who pointed out an edit in the live broadcast, and when the MH cameras went funny down in the caves the time flashed up was 1hr 20 minutes out of synch with the UK. The 1 hr time zone different catered for that but nobody has ever managed to explain why the camera was 20 minutes out.
Unless, of course, the show has a buffer of 20 minutes so that anything too blatant could be hidden by 'camera faults'...

i didn't know that. but if there was a time difference wouldn't that allow them to at least attempt to edit something really bad like that i wrote of. it just came across to me that they were truly live. what brian shepard did just embarassed this already dubious show and millions of viewers saw it. everyday was the same until the fifth and final night. i could be wrong but brian shepards demeanour had altered. i know it made him no less of a fake but he seemed calmer. i wondered if words had been exchanged. like i say maybe it's just me but that's what i thought.
