that happens in my house (the tap thing) the tap in my bathroom on the second floor will sometimes start running without being turned, i think it is something to do with if that sink and water elsewhere in the house, one of the toilets/ shower/ washing machine maybe, has been used at the same time - it does not happen everytime but just occasionally - it used to be a bit unnerving but obviously it can happen without the aid of ghostly hands. Mind you, the lamp in my bedroom is always switching its self on during the day (never at night) i dont know how that can happen, but as i dont believe in ghosts anymore im assuming its an electrical fault. Its a horrible lamp anyway, i think i will chuck it out!

I'm glad you've all put your comments about last night. We had bad weather and the sky kept breaking up so it was barely watchable. To me if the "tap" thing was genuine they'd have played it over and over again. We managed to catch bits of the show and the fact they didn't make a big deal of the tap turning on was suspicious. Looks like the plot thickens every week.

They spoke a lot about the tap coming on, speaking about how amazing it was that they had captured it on video... but then they never replayed the tape of it coming on. Maybe because the handle didn't move...?
Also, something interesting I remembered. After Stu had been in the bedroom and him and Karl were going up for a joint sesh (oo er) Karl asked Stu if he had lay down on the bed. Stu said that he didn't and swore blind to God's honest truth that he had not lay down on the bed. Then it cut to a clip of Stu lying on the bed (recorded earlier) with the caption "Someone's telling porkies."
Makes you think what other little porkies he's been saying, especially since he said the 'I haven't laid on the bed" one with so much sincerity.

Now we were priveleged to get that bit in between sky breaking up. You're right, how on earth can you believe anything. I can't make my mind up if it's a comedy spoof or not. I tried to imagine sitting in a car park for 3 hours, in a strange place cold and alone today. I've come to the conclusion that it was Stu's way of convincing the viewers that he was no where near his sidekick inside. It had the opposite effect. Maybe their joint sesh O.M.S was a bitta bad stuff!

It does seem a bit far fetched doesn't it? stu waiting in the car park for 3 hours, the car keys sitting on the bumper and he didn't notice they were there, im sure when your're bored out of your brains he would of eventually seen them there, infact they must have mobile phones after 15 minutes or so I would of called Karl and asked where they were so I could sit comfortably in the car and out of the cold, does stu have no brain?
They done this to make light entertainment, so what is the point of Whines and Spirits it's not an investigation show cause they don't properly investigate anything, just pratt about, god forbid later in the autumn when the other show appears on our screens. I can just see it now 3 dumb women screaming their heads off, Cath saying as she always says she's been touched by something, a full view of Yvette nostrels and Leslie just being Leslie (gullible) and most importantly them all faking it!!!

They should read what people think about them. Mind you they're having a blady good time! I think they could come on tv, openly admit they're fake and not worth watching and they'd still have followers. What are they like?

Does anyone remember the programme on channel 4 a couple of years back called Faking It?
Where someone from the public like for instance a hairdresser had 4 weeks to be a DJ for example, well all the most haunted crew should be on this show they would pass with flying colours!

Can you imagine the scenario. They've got four weeks to become "experts" in the paranormal. Naa! delusions of grandeur. ;D ;D

Well for anyone who's interested last nights fiasco was the best yet. The comedy duo surpassed themselves with fakery, stupidity and down right embarassment. We had Karl asking a "spirit" (I giggle uncontrollably) to stab his faithful sidekick Stuart in the stomach and low and behold Mr Torevell starts moaning and writhing in pain right on the bulls eye. There was knocks and bangs so audible that I nearly had to shout over the top of the tv while talking to my husband. A coffin lid banged down and the supreme clincher of all was the "arm" shown at different sizes in the usual dramatic fashion. As many MH sceptics will know whenever K or S are on their own and something occurs they run and yell because they can't cope. Amazing how last night they didn't do that, mmmmm..... I'm sure even Ciaran would have made his excuses and left. Another clear indication that it was faked. Stuart wasn't particularly fazed either that Karl had wanted him stabbed, remember Stuart sitting in the pub car park for 3 hours and barely spouting a word of anger at being left alone. Best friend or not on both these occasions I know I'd have let fly verbally. Anyway, I just wanted to put my thoughts here and keep you up-to-date. ;D

yes I also watched it, I can't believe how PUT ON it is? do they honestly think we are stupid? oh come on how long were they doing their vigil at this pub, say couple of hours and all these unexplainable things happening to them? what utter bo**ocks!
Do you know what? Stu is starting to really grate on my nerves, he tries to come across so genuine, but it's not working or it's not working with me. They are doing this tour around the country trying to find the most haunted pub, well I did happen to notice that the pub they did their investigation were advertising ghost walks, so of course there gonna want to be on telly to attract the punters in, maybe I should invite Karl and Stu round to my house to investigate and give them a piece of their own medicine! I tell you what id put the frighteners up them! Lol

Just as I consider myself a religious agnosticist, I'm not totally opposed to the supernatural. I haven't experienced anything so far, but I can't rule out, that some day something might come my way.
That said, the utter rubbish being produced by antix, is using the same cheap tricks with each and every show they're producing. The biggest and smelliest pile might be, that every time one of their members enters a building, your friendly ghost makes a tapping appearance to give them the sreaming s*its. And what's more, it's not even well made, it's boring after a very short while. Seen one, seen them all. And don't get me started about their seances and their glass pushing. I can't believe, they're still in business, since their products aren't even on fairground attraction level.

Well ladies and gents just a quick review of last night for you. A violently swinging chandelier and ....................that was it, I think. Oooh sorry, some room keys got thrown across the floor but Karl reassured us that he'd checked to make sure no one was in there. ;D Oh yes and Stuart was oooooohhhing a lot too they even replayed it!

The best thing about the paranormal channel is the programme "Epitaph" where basically a guy gives the stories and reasons behind various tombstones in NZ.. its interesting, to me at least ;D As i said previously when I didnt realise there was already a thread for this pants programme, I wouldnt trust Karl or Stuart if my life depended on it:
