The Paranormal Channel list being added to Digiguide getdigiguide.com/?p=1&r=16043 later today, this should make it much easier to find new programmes and weed out the repeats.

So far it's Strange But True, Arthur C Clarke, Paul Ross Tells Spooky Stories, Spooky Night-time (at 11am), Channel Preview and Whines and Spirits. Varied listings

I'm truly surprised there hasn't been any official complaint. I'm so fed up of the repeats that my brother now rings me to tell me when it's changed. Who needs Sky Plus, if you miss it just wait a few hours and it's on again anyway. Arthur C Clarke and Strange But True are the only ones worth watching.
Saying that though there was an hour documentary called something like Do you believe in the paranormal? That was good, a guy from New Zealand visited several psychics all using different methods. One woman gave someone a reading and the person being read was very impressed by her accuracy. The greatest bit was when she revealed herself as being a sceptic and showed how she did it. Not bad viewing if you're interested.

Got the channel on Digiguide now but it's not much help as the muppets are using generic synopsis for the programs with no series/episode numbers listed

It should be named the timewarp channel because it's definitely stuck in one! I remember the times of old Granada Breeze to name but one. I think there was one called ABC not long ago, that had a lot of repeats but I can't find it now. It serves them right, they should think of the viewers not themselves.

I watched that Paul Ross program for about 5 minutes. He tries so hard to add emotion into the story but fails miserably. He doesn't have the vocal dexterity to tell a good ghost story.
Richard O'Brien on the other hand...

Richard O'Brien on the other hand... I've tried a couple of times to watch him and it lasted ooohh.....about 2.45 minutes. In one episode though he even added an american accent.....go figure, I thought to myself! When you think there's a few actors whos voices keep you riveted in your seat. But MH are wanting to keep it in the family, probably because they can't find anyone else to do it!!

No guide required really , it goes , hasbeen presenter telling ghost stories , hasbeen presenter pretending they are contacting ghosts , hasbeen presenter running about in pub in dark and squealing occasionally inbetween falling over due to pretend ghosts ,Arthur C Clarke for a fleeting moment of nostalgic misty eyed good old days , then repeat all of previous till viewer gives up . They really are shooting themselves in the foot as even the most keen Antic followers must be bored poo less by all these repeats.

Thank whomever that it doesn't appear to be available on Virgin media. Yay! On the bad side, the Italian fashion channel seems to have gone. Too bad...it could be quite rude at times.

Sometimes I've sat and wondered why this new paranormal channel is so tacky. Today a plausible explanation came to mind.
Normally when there's a new tv or sky, etc, channel they start off by giving you new shows or televising old ones without repeating the same episode time and time again. I think Yvette Fielding and Karl Beattie had found out that other companies were planning to produce their own version of the paranormal channel. Because of this Y and K panicked and didn't want anyone else to be the first to do so. They bought as many cheap films and documentaries as they could to bulk up the viewing hours and are making very shabby programmes as quick as possible.
It makes sense to me as I've never known a new channel produce so many repeats and poor quality viewing straight away. Normally a company waits while it's viewers seem reasonably satisfied before bombarding the tv with continuous repeats. Y and K, on the other hand are working the other way round. I know Yvette Fielding likes things her own way. That's why I think the paranormal channel's been rushed through to stop other companies beating her to it. (Let's be right they surely couldn't do any worse a job).

are making very shabby programmes as quick as possible. They probably think it's the norm as they got away with it making Most Haunted

They probably think it's the norm as they got away with it making Most Haunted There was actually one scene that almost made me a believer Stu doing his usual "make your presence known" routine whilst filming his supposedly scared or stupid face and the "spirit" opening the toilet door. That ghost has to be Austrian, since if an Austrian wants to say "sod off", he tells you in a very vulgar way to go take a dump. I don't think, one of the crew could have known that.
