They are so misleading - they don't know what the hell they are talking about. They used an EMF meter to detect spiritual energy, WTF?! One of them picks up a thermometor out of their case, turns it on and goes "yes, the temperature in here is..."
Give it a chance to regulate you muppet.

They didnt even take the temp of the rest of the room, i did notice the " kit" which im sure you can get from Toms Gadgets. Did you know that all the investigations were filmed during the day, it is not an investigation if all you do is walk round with a medium, to be honest if the medium gets exchausted after doing one room then im afraid he is in the wrong job.

Yeah, it's just a psychic/medium reading. With regards to the temperature readings too - they don't even explain why they are taking temperature readings. What relevence does it have to that particular case?
Have people experienced cold spots there? Who knows? They don't tell us!
Plus, why did they use a trigger object? nothing was mentioned regarding moving objects - only the tale about the piles of beans made on pillows etc. Hardly something a trigger object is going to get to the bottom of. Plus, okay - the trigger object moves...what does that prove?
Zilch.
We have held investigations during the day in the past because the phenomena reported to us occured during the day - so we were simply matching the investigation to the occurence. What had been experienced happened at 1pm - no point us being there at 10pm.

I have worked with him, yes. There is one location that our team have investigated numerous times that Paul the medium and Ray the lead investigator from Paranormal5 investigated a long time before us. When they went into this location Paul was picking up on murder and a body being dragged away and all this nasty macabre stuff. After their investigation they had an article in a local newspaper listing all this gruesome, scary information about this location without the permission of the location owner. When we spoke to the location owner they told us that they had lost numerous customers through their fear of staying in a theatre that had such troubled and active ghosts there. The owner of the location went on to say that he had historic records dating back to the day that they started to build the theatre and there had never been a murder or a body hidden or anything that Paul had 'picked up on' which speaks volumes to me... Another good case regarding their medium is linked to the filming on their television show. They went to Westbury swimming pool to conduct an investigation. Paul, their medium, lives in Westbury. Infact he even used to attend water polo matches AT Westbury swimming pool. I know this as a member of the team I work with, used to attend them and knew him through the matches! It is well known that Westbury swimming pool is supposedly haunted by the ghost that is NICKNAMED George. The ghost is nicknamed George because the person that they think the ghost is still has family in the area and they do not refer to the ghost by its real name out of respect. When P5 did their little investigation at the swimming pool Paul picked up on a spirit called George and didn't mention any nickname. Call me naive, but I would have thought the spirit would have used its real name. I also wonder if, had the swimming pool been used in the programme, they would have claimed Paul had no prior knowledge? I had loads of people emailing me about that little episode asking me why they had gone to the pool when it was well known by all that Paul lives in the same town and even went to the pool in his past. Have you seen the paranormal5 website? Some people are commenting on how using their medium as the centre of the programme ruins the whole show. The first half of the first episode is available to watch >here<

I have been on their website, might have another peek though. It is wrong to to discuss any investigation report without the owners permission let alone getting a newspaper to print it, i would have sued, i wonder if they are insured? where are all the comments? i cant seem to find them on their site.

Hmm, hard to say. you know of them then? I see you are from Wiltshire too - have you heard of this person before? I have to add that the show is badly edited and simply centres around their medium Paul Derrick. This is the medium who once did a healing on my head - told me I had a bad shoulder (nope) and that I had a problem with my back teeth (again, nope!) but failed to make note of the tumor growing inside my head... I have only just come across Paul Derrick.. I was just about to start a new thread about him, so just as well I did a quick search. Still, Mr Derrick does give . Always useful to know...... www.paulspiritmedium.co.uk/index.html

He has actually left the UK5 team, who are the team behind the Paranormal Five tv show. I did notice something about how he is to be doing some stage shows locally - not 100% sure on this though.

I managed to watch some of the episodes online and i thought they were very good. The medium came out with some c*ck-and-bull but it was excellent entertainment. Remember none of these programmes are factual it is entertainment value only. Is it as good as Most Haunted? Well i think it is. The show fits well into a half hour slot and their Medium is at least as good as Derek Acorah/David Wells/Gordon Smith.
