I just read in the Sky TV magazine that there's a new Most Haunted Live. Can they not just leave it alone now, please?

Can they not just leave it alone now, please? There's still money to be made.

Oh no, not another "we own the paranormal channel" advertisement dropped in at every given opportunity. Heck that's another 3 or 5 or maybe this time a weeks nightly viewing spoilt. It's crazy I know but I watch it now just to catch them out. Even our kids sit and laugh at me abusing the tv, trust me they're already on our side.

So is Brian Shepard their 'regular' medium now? Is he doing this live event?!
Oh, the prospect is tantalising...

Brian Shepard surely no. I must admit the suspense gets to you. I haven't seen any advertisements yet on Living but there should be soon enough. They'll keep us hanging right until the Julian Clegg hour on the first day. Barrel dredging describes it best I think.

29th to the 31st apparently ,but still no leak yet as to the location ....how will i sleep ? Its just so tired and old now the thought of 3 days worth of nothing much happening at all doesn't even make me want to watch it for the laughs even . They've flogged it to the travel channel in the U.S now and are off to do 8 new shows for them so looks like they are looking for pastures new to punt their programme

A bit of therapy for the build up to it may come in pretty handy. ;D I didn't know about this US channel though but apparently America are big on this cow plop. I'd like to know when they get to see their kids. Umm, I wonder if this spells the future demise of MH on Living. It's the same old tune again and again and again. Maybe their high horse is lying down a bit. One can but hope.

The programme is fake as a two bob note but it's still funny to watch them all taking themselves overly seriously

Hmm, i wonder where the NEW MHL will be? probably somewhere we have never heard of. I do apologize everyone. I got so excited with founding out the latest I overlooked this thread and started a new one. Here's a wikipedia link giving us a run down of the new Live: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Most_Haunted_Live#Most_Haunted_Live:_Total_Darkness_.28Aug_29-31_2008.29the new MH live at the end of August 2008 has a few differences. I can't BELIEVE who their psychic is going to be. The one and only Brian Shepard. I thought I'd read it wrong. Here's just a few new installments for you. "Antix Productions have confirmed they have set 29–31 August 2008, as the dates for the next Most Haunted Live. The studio is to be situated in Alexandra Palace, North London. Yvette Fielding and the team, along with medium and psychic artist Brian Shepheard and historian Lesley Smith will centre live investigations in London. According to early television listing the theme will be 'Total Darkness' and investigation locations include the tombs and vaults beneath London bridge, and also Aldwych tube station, which they have previously investigated in the very first series of Most Haunted back in 2002. Rumours that Paul Ross, the current host of Most Haunted Live, was not coming back as host and was to be replaced with the resident historian Lesley Smith were squashed by Antix Productions, stating that there is no way Paul Ross will be replaced by Lesley Smith and Paul will certainly be returing to Most Haunted Live for the August 2008 live special." Brian Shepard, if I didn't know any better I'd swear that Yvie and Karl were doing this deliberately. This man is atrocious! I also read a stomach churning interview with Yvette Fielding in the TV & SATELLITE magazine for the 23-29th of August. Here just some snippets from there: TAKEN FROM YVETTE'S INTERVIEWShe is classed as "Queen of all things paranormal." "When people say the shows are fake it really upsets me... Sceptics will never believe. I invite anyone to come along and disprove it-you can't get fairer than that." "I believed in ghosts even before starting the show" "The live shows are nerve racking... I get terrified because if nothing happens people are very disappointed. I just pray "Please, please make something happen." I'll leave these air brushed comments with you.

She invites you along with them to find out? I seriously doubt she would uphold that quote for two massive reasons. Firstly its fake and they don't want you to find out so some excuse would be sounded. The second is; i seriously doubt they could get insurance for you to, only the crew would be allowed on set for such reasons. That's basicly a quote just to make you feel as if you want to go but never take up the oppertunity. Or so they hope.

I think we should all ask to take the opportunity up with Yvette, sort out our own personal insurance and shut her up .........

Like crashcat says the insurance would come into play and she knows it. The problem is traceyg Yvie and the gang want us to believe that no one has offered this before. RUBBISH, but you know if your idea could work it would be well worth trying.
I must add by the way on a few episodes of Most Horrendous...err sorry Most Haunted I've heard Yvette say she was skeptical. Does anyone else remember that, I can't think which episodes but she said it. It stuck out because it went against all the screaming or "something's just grabbed me" crap. The Million Dollar Fielding Challenge. ;D Unlike these psychic asses though a skeptic, given the chance, will take her up on it for FREE. But she'll back down because she knows they are no more than frauds themselves.

Yes you are right conbot! I remember Yvette saying a few times on tv that she is a sceptic it might of been on the Paul o Grady show or the heaven and earth show, but I do remember her saying that...

She's probably a skeptic because she knows everything they have heard is as bloody bent as a two bob note. I'm a skeptical investigator and even though i know blatantly i can explain it, i still pile on out through the door and a vain attempt to get out (though i did do a lone vigil recently in a factory, i was proud). I always come back and explain it away, Yvette seems to rely on everything their 'briefed' medium says though. She says shes skeptical Conbott but thats an act.
