Jon, did you expect to get banned?
Did you want your followers to help you get banned, or can no one tame the JD God himself?
It would have been really good if you could have changed your style of writing and been allowed to stay, as some of your points really are quite valid.

I object to "followers". I share Jon Donnis' opinion with regards to the paranormal but I am not his follower, he just happens to be somebody with the same views.

I did not want to get banned, but in banning me Tracy exposed her own predujices as well as proving that she doesnt want anyone potentially opening the eyes of her followers

Jon feels very passionate about what he does; he's fiercely proud of his greek roots; Indeed his own motif on his forum is the greek god Zeus (who I kind of think he thinks he embodies.)
Personally he reminds me of that other great gift to modern culture the greeks gave us... The donar kebab (something that I'm extremely partial to but, more often than not, disagrees with me !)

Exile, I apologise if I offended you by calling you one of Jon's followers, it was just how it came across on the forum. Tracy's was the first forum I belonged to, and all of a sudden a man called JonDonnis arrives and so did a stream of people......the rest you know.
Jon does like his followers, but I am glad you are not one of them. You did come across very well on Tracy's site, and I enjoyed our communication. Let's not ruin it here by misunderstanding please.

Hi Hotchic.  I'm not offended, honest. It takes a hell of a lot to offend me.. one of my failings - that and not knowing when to shut up!  I know what you mean about your site, I can understand that. I didn't take what you said about followers as aimed at me in particular. I think everyone would agree that went into that forum Hotchic, that you were the friendliest and most honest. I'm just having a rough week... I apologise if I've annoyed anyone.   I'm not usually so argumentative. |

I think these forums are a great place to get stuff off your chest. My children have driven me mad today, the husband is out on the piss and I have gone on here to try to remember there is more to me than being the '[glow=red,2,300]housewife'[/glow] and mother!
I am now going to go to bed to read my spooky Barbara Erskine book and go into another little world.
