www.drchristianjessen.com/biography.htmDr Christian graduated in 2000 from UCL, having trained in general medicine, infectious disease, travel medicine and sexual health/HIV. Christian’s television work also includes popular prime-time series “Embarrassing Illnesses” (Channel 4), “Finding God” - where he looked after Jack Osborne during his travels through India (Channel 4), “Sex in Court” (E4), and he was featured in the documentary “Harley Street”. He was the medical expert on “Skinny Celebrities” (Living) and has been a contestant on “Celebrity Weakest Link - 999 Special” and “Ready Steady Cook” (BBC1). Christian is a regular expert guest on “The Wright Stuff” and “Doctor, Doctor” (Five). and has even taken on the odd modelling job for various clothes and underwear companies. He reminds me of a GP I have been hearing about, apparently she usually sends people from her surgery with the advice about going to the health shop rather than doing what she was trained to do, being a GP! I do wish these doctors would decide to either be men/women of 'conventional' medicine or go buy some water pills from the homeopath type mongers. On the story about the women hit in the breast, surely by the time she has written the letter to the magazine and by the time the story was printed she would have been better. What a waste of ink and paper. Lastly every woman should know that if you have problems with your breast your first part of call is the doc, not Closer magazine!

Anyone fancy writing up an article of this for the main site? Or William would you like to do a video piece for BPTV?

Quite. As 12 year olds, my friend and I used to write in to Jackie with all sorts of crap to see if we could get letters printed. You can't tell me that adults don't do it too for a laugh. I have used Arnica - only as it happens to be in the cupboard, bought by a friend. I'm quite certain it doesn't do anything, and my children know this, but the children feel I'm doing something positive to comfort them - as well as packing them up in ice (which, by the way, doesn't cure a broken ankle... - the ice that is...)

There is nothing wrong with arnica. Nothing wrong with ice.
Next we'll be telling Meercat that Jack Daniels is homeopathic !

If it works - even if it is only as a comfort thing, call it what ever... Can't stand Jack Daniels - Cider every time for me!!
