Lisa: It has to be natural one, not a posed photo. I can tell if couples are meant to be. I can see if someone is depressed or happy or if they lost someone in their lives. You can really tell a lot by a picture.
Question from Shell in FL: Is there a way to tell what your purpose in life is?
Lisa: God, if I had a pound every time I was asked that question! I would meditate and ask your spirit guides and your angels for the answers. Ask them your purpose and eventually you'll be given the answer. That's what I always suggest.
Question from Esther in MA: As a medium, do spirits ever specifically ask you to seek someone out for a message?
Lisa: All the time. I'll be lying in the bath and that has happened.
Question from Marina in GA: Do you always randomly walk up and speak to people on the street who may have a spirit around them?
Lisa: I've been known to do it. I do it once or twice a week. The last person approached was in a casino since I'm in Vegas right now. I ended up doing a reading. It just kind of happened.

Lisa: My mom was with me just recently when I gave my first autograph in Hollywood. I think it's a bit surreal for her. My mom is with me right now in Vegas and she's telling me that she finds it all a bit strange.

Lisa: I'd like to do some tours. Right now, the TV show is taking my attention, but when that wraps up, I'd like to tour. It's one of many things that I have planned.

Lisa: I've had great and great-great grandparents appear to me. Some spirits have come to me from many many generations back.

Lisa: Protection. Make sure that you are fully protected. That is the most important thing. Also, they have to be able to look at their own life and evaluate it. That's second. The last key issue is meditation.
Question from DeeAnn in GA: Can a spirit reach out and touch us in a real physical way? For instance, sometimes I feel a tugging on the back of my shirt when I am all alone.
Lisa: Yes they can. I feel like I'm being poked. It's a spirit's way of getting your attention.

Lisa: Go to a spiritual or candle shop. Or go to the Internet. There are great web sites for buying this kind of stuff. Go to places you feel comfortable shopping. And really you can pick up sage anywhere.

Lisa: No, not normally. There are times like for instance, when I'm ill, that I don't want to. But most of the time I do. We all have our off days though.

Lisa: Oh yes. It's one of the easiest to deal with...it's all about dealing with the inner self. I can heal a person from anxiety if that person wants to be healed.

Lisa: I was in the right place at the right time. I was on holiday in Los Angeles two years ago and had to extend my stay when I got sick. I ended up doing a reading there for someone who worked for Merv Griffin and he wanted to do a show called "The Predictors." That show didn't go anywhere but then they decided to do a show around me. I didn't go out there to pitch a show or anything. It was just me being in the right place at the right time.
Question from Katherine in CA: What kinds of things do you have to say to coax a spirit to move over to the other side?
Lisa: You have to find out why they are stuck. It is like dealing with a child. You have to get them to face you and understand and trust you. You have to coax them. I've asked them why they are afraid and then deal with that issue. But you have to respect them, whether you like them or not. You have to listen to them.
Question from Bruce in MI: Are men just as likely to become psychic as women?
Lisa: Oh yes! There are a lot of good male psychics, like John Edward. I think men are very very good but they often don't tap into it. I think to be a medium like I am, you have to be in touch with your emotional side. Some men like to hold that side back. If they can get in touch with their emotions, then I think men make great mediums and psychics.
Question from David in AL: I have an appointment with a hypnotist to rid my smoking habit tomorrow. Is there a connection with spirits and this situation?
Lisa: You can do hypnosis to get past life regression. But something like hypnosis to stop smoking, I don't think that is connected with the spirits. But I do think you could get in touch with your spirit guide or reach a higher plane with hypnosis.

Lisa: I always say put loud music on, dance around, laugh, go outside, hug a tree and just have fun! That generates a lot of good energy.

Lisa: I think they inform you about important decisions but they can't make up your mind for you. I tell people that come to me, that I can't make decisions for them either based on what spirits are telling me. I can only provide them with info to help them to make those decisions.
Question from Theresa in VT: Do you find that the enviroment you are in helps or hinders? I have had a few experiences all of them happening around moving bodies of water?
Lisa: Certain environments in my home I work better in. I always like to be able to see the sky or nature. In my office, I try to have every element. Being by the water can definitely help you to pick up the spirits. It's often a better environment for that.
Question from Tanya in NY: When a family lives together do the spirit guides of each family talk with another and help eachother out?
Lisa: I can't answer the question in that way. But there is one time when a husband and wife got together that I knew and the father of the husband and the father of the wife gmet in the spirit world and communicated and they never met here on earth.
Question from Dan in NY: Does spiritual evolution mimic evolution here on earth? Do animal spirits evolve into human spirits over life times?
Lisa: Personally, I don't know. I don't think people can go from animal to human but personally I don't know. I have read a lot of books on it and I'm still not sure.

Lisa: I can sometimes give feelings just based on a name that I am asked about to yes I can do that.

Lisa: No. I have not. I would if the opportunity came along and they needed me. I would not publicize it. I know they want their privacy.

Lisa: I think so. I have put my hands on a dog and told the owner what they're thinking or feeling. So I think definitely.

Lisa: Yes they can if they're into black magic. Also, having negative thoughts, you can inflict negative energy onto someone. I hope that they wouldn't do that though!
Question from Michelle in NE: Do spirits take their feelings with them. For example, if you werent speaking at the time they passed, does that stay with them?
Lisa: They do take those feelings on. It's part of the process for spirits to deal with their feelings. They have to deal with them. Most of the time then they'll move on and put water under the bridge. They tend to get rid of them as soon as they learn the lessons they needed to. They'll let those negative feelings go.
Question from Danielle in MD: Are there specific times during the year that spirits are more active than other times of the year?
Lisa: Not at all. Christmas is a busy time. People want to be around their loved ones. A lot of people think it's Halloween but it's not. It's really pretty constant throughout the year.

Lisa: That's a good question! I do love my job. I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't love it. I don't see it as a job, I see it as a vocation and a calling. I think this is what I am meant to do.

Lisa: A lot of times you tend to know....you think wow they are just like such and such. You often can recognize traits of the perosn who passed but not everyone can do that unfortunately.
Question from Christina in MD: When spirits tell you that they are "ok," do they ever tell you where they are (heaven-wise or just roaming around)?
Lisa: I've actually had them tell me who they are with and what they've been doing and where they are. They can give me details...not of what they do every day, but I do get details. They also have no sense of time. It's very different once they pass.
Question from Mike in PA: As a psychic, can you predict things on a grander scale, i.e. natural disasters.
Lisa: Yes. For example, four months before the Tsunami, I told my husband details about it...that there would be this natural disaster in the far east that would unite the world. I predicted Diana's death. So, yes I have.

Lisa: I am always weary about answering when a person asks does this person love me because a psychic can tap into your emotions and what you want to hear.
Question from Ann in NJ: Is there one segment or client that touched you the most while filming the show?
Lisa: The one that touched me the most was the marine story. It was amazing. The other one that really touched me was with the dog, Tyler and Pike. The marine had a huge impact on me and the crew. The other was fun and heartwarming were Tyler and Pike. I still hear from them and Pike is doing well.
Question from Lori in NJ: What crystals do you use for healing? Is there a prayer used while using them?
Lisa: For healing, I use a lot of crystals. I tend to work with most with healing is a red jasper, a tiger's eye, green citurine, rose quartz, turquois, amathyst, a hemotite, clear quartz and others....I also surround the person with clear quartz as well. Those are some of the most common. With prayer, I tend to ask for the highest form of healing and protection.
Question from Kristine in PA: Do you ever decide it is in your client's best interest not to say everything, even if the spirit tells you to pass the message?
Lisa: This is why I always ask the client what do they want to know. I try to work in the difficult information in a way that the client can handle. You do have to use your judgement in this kind of work.
Question from Michelle in FL: Is it possible for our guardian angels to come to us in human form?
Lisa: I believe that we have earth angels; those are guardian angels who look after us on earth, as well as those who look after us in the spirit world.
Question from Helen in CT: Does spirits realize they may be scaring people? How can you remain calm when dealing with them?
Lisa: A true spirit will pick up on your fear. You have to get yourself into a mindset before you do a clearance. I like to say when I'm scared to myself, I can deal with this. You have to be prepared and remind yourself that you're strong and can handle it because a negative spirit will prey upon your fears.
Question from Jo Anne in TN: I get a lot of visits in my dreams from dead loved ones, except my brother. How can I help him come to me in my dreams?
Lisa: That's difficult. It depends how your brother passed and why he doesn't want to come foreward. I suggest going to sleep with his picture by your bedside. Ask him to come foreward each night before you go to sleep. He may not be sure you want him to come foreward. You have to let him know about that you'd like to hear from him. I'm not sure why, but with this question, I keep getting the name David in my head.

Lisa: My brother is the biggest skeptic. He used to think I rummaged through people's trash bins to get my information! My dad wants to believe when it suits him. He's interested. I'd say my dad is an open-minded skeptic. I gave up with trying to convince my brother but I'm still trying to convince my dad. I don't mind.

Lisa: Absolutely. I always say that whenever we are going to die, we have this inner feeling of just knowing. My grandfather knew it, my grandmother knew it, and many people tell me their parents or other people they know who have died knew about it as well.
