He's trying to be authoritive and won't stand up to Yvette and Karl... I reckon he's only still there because he can be manipulated.

Hello. Just watched the closing finale of the latest shambles with the shouty bloke around the fire and I do hope you will forgive me if I use terribly uncouth language whilst asking what the fuck that was all about?
No really. Does anyone take this load of sweaty b***cks seriously?

All I can say is they did a 7 night investigation, but they never really investigated anything?
Did they catch a ghost on film?....answer NO
Did they investigate properly any noise phenomenon?....answer NO
Did they investigate why Karl was able to untie himself out of the straight jacket?....answer NO
Did they know for a fact that the Asylum was hunted by several witches?...answer NO
Do the team ever investigate why they get pushed and touched?...answer NO
This list could go on for ever. MHL do not investigate nothing and as for the excorcism, well that was a joke really!

I should think that bloody exorcism would be enough to convince die hard MH fans that it's all a load of b*llocks!! What utter tripe!

It was funny though ;D
Seriously though some daft investigation team will copy what MH does one of these days, you can just see it happening cant you, alot of teams out there started up because of MH.

I'm still puzzled by something. If it is all faked (and I believe that it probably is), how on earth can they expect viewers to tune in for 7 nights on the trot in which nothing at all happens?
If they were going to fake things, why do they do so comparatively little of it in 28 HOURS of broadcasting? If it is all faked, why do they do such a bad job of faking stuff? They could choreograph the whole shooting match from start to finish, starting off small, gradually increasing the tension, perhaps creating a running story from the first night to the last and going out on a mad crescendo of object-hurling, supposed possessions and eerie noises.
They clearly think that all these things are easy to get away with since they do them, so why don't they do it more? Although I think it's basically faked, they seem totally incompetant at getting even that right. What is the explanation for all that dead air? They're in a fight for viewers with every other channel. You'd think that they'd put a bit more effort into it.
I tend to watch it for humour value now (although Brian the crayon eater is actually better described as 'irritating as fuck' rather than amusing), and very occasionally I find the places they visit quite eerie and just once in a blue moon something happens which has me thinking 'if that was real, I'd be quite impressed'. But this time, I had to wait till the last hour of the final night to find anything even vaguely eerie - the humming noises in the chapel. If they just gave it a good go, they could fake stuff like that all the way through and make gullible people kak themselves. I just don't get it.

I sat through some of it, but I've lost enthusiasm for kicking a dead horse, so I won't post any criticism.

They dont do lots of faking because that PROVEs its all real for the very reasons you mentioned.
By doing nothing they can say the classic "Well sometimes nothing happens, this proves we dont fake things"

Yes that humming in the church would have been so good if we didn't know what fakes MH are and that it was someone upstairs repeating her humming back to her ;D

Heart failure - my mum had that. Hope you're feeling OK, dollydaydream.
I think they have the balance totally wrong.
