Hello Claire - welcome. Whilst I think it is true to say that most members on this forum are very sceptical about paranormal phenomena, especially Most Haunted (please look at the links put on by Jon - that'll convince you it's fake I'm sure), an open mind is always a good thing. Dont worry about questioning the ''sceptical'' viewpoint but you may be surprised how much little actual evidence there is out there for the claims of the ''woos''.
Cheers Mesmo

Of cause M H, is faked ,so what. If you want a good belly laugh watch this load of tripe. If on the other hand you want to [seriously] find out about spooks and other paranormal happenings, go look for yourselves i am sure you will have just as much chance of finding them,as the M H crew has, proberly more chances.

I always assumed that it was faked since it just didn't really appear to take itself seriously. The actors don't even try to make it look real from my perspective. I prefer Haunted homes with Chris French as i love it when the owners of the house and the psychic go in the dark and gret really freaked out and half the time have to run out in stark terror after getting physically sick, then Chris goes in and sits there getting bored.

Yes it is a fake show. It is just a pity, that no one has informed the people who take part. They are so serious[except when somebody upstages Yvette and gets a dirty look ]. I keep telling myself not to watch, but i do like a good comedy show. I live in hope of them being invited to perform at the ROYAL COMMAND PERFORMANCE ,is this what they still call it . I have not seen the show for years ,so do not know. Gosh would they have a field day all thoses skeletons in hidden cupboards to uncover.

It's definitely fake. At first I thought maybe..... just maybe.....but I was wrong. The way I see it though is that after all this time I would be so sick and tired of faking it. It's the same thing time and time again. Then they'll add a bit of voodoo or an exorcism to spice it up and of course people should be allowed a betting slip on Karl and Stuart. Let's be right it's only a matter of time before one of them falls, gets possessed, curses at a spirit, attacks their side kick and one of my favourites is someone (supposedly a spirit) yelling in Karls ear "only" to GET OUT!
I like to think of Karl as a face hugger (wherever the camera is he likes to be attached to the lens) and Stuart...........I'll need some time on that one.....................

Tis so fake and has been proved countless times as being fake that it beggars belief how anyone could say it wasnt . Its the fakest fakery of fakeness even Mr Fake Fakesmith of Fakestown Fake would find it hard to top its fakery (and i hear he's good at fake) Just incase anyone is left in any doubt whatsoever ....ITS FAKE . That's quite a bold statement. Mr Fake Fakesmith knows his stuff...I heard he fakes his orgasms when he 'chokes the chicken' ;D I'm amazed that MHL doesn't have to show a legal warning stating that it's just for entertainment. Other TV shows get publically crucified for misleading viewers with phone polls and dishonesty, so why should MHL be any different?

It's advertised as entertainment yet that lot carry on as though it's the real deal and like something is actually happening. From what I've seen of it, they always make sure the camera is not pointing at whatever happens. How very convenient. I don't know what it is, but it's a long time since a programme on the tele and a crowd of people have gotten up my nose quite as much as this lot.
