Well what i mean is apparantly according to the Radio Times.. They apparantly are going to burn down a church to rid of the evil that is inside HOW on earth is burning down the church inside the asylum going to rid of the evil inside when evil has already arised in the form of the Most Haunted Team... What annoys me about this infact that the building is due for demolition which is fair enough but why ruin it to the extent for a STUPID experiment and they arnt real anyway ?? Is this most haunted's way of getting a big wow factor? WELL i think its stupid and im glad im working What do peeps think.. ??

I can forsee a new job opportunity opening with the paranomal groups that emulate Most Haunted. Along with the "token sceptic" the "sceptical believer?" "the medium" "the sensitive" "the parapsychologist" etc etc there will now be a place for "arsonist".

That has got to be the most ludicrous thing I have heard in a long time !!!
Burning a church down to rid the evil inside it......oh good grief MH are definately losing the plot with this one like....and if the belief is that evil spirits do reside there I would think burning down the church would piss them off even more, it would damn well piss me off if I'd been happily haunting somewhere for years and an idiotic bunch like MH came along.

would the Church allow them to do that, as the church would be consecrated be it Catholic or Church of England

Thats a good point dolly, even thoug hit is due for demolition, the churches in some areas still have a say over what happens on church grounds.

We could do with contacting a few Church websites and getting them to complain etc.

They'll have to be quick though, won't they?
I'm just sad they're demolishing the building anyway, as it's beautiful - locals have been opposing it for ages.
Probably why they've had permission to do this, I'd have thought, as it means the developers can declare the building to be dangerous and it has be be demolished.

I thought about this again last night, would the church have any say, if the church mentioned is with in the asylum building, this is where they may be able to get away with it and knowing MH they will, they get away with everything else.

I watched them last night light the fire and burn the efigy(sp) all well and good but what the hecky peck was all that religion at the end? Karl seemed to be in some kind of hypnotic state and they were all saying 'amen' and the weird god squad bloke was chanting so much bunkum. It was like a scene from Amyteville.
Since when did they all get religion?? why did Ciaran allow this??

Ciaran has no say He is playing a part of the show, he is basically an actor on the show same as Phil Whyman and Jason Karl, he plays the part of a parapsychologist.

yeah the exorcism at the end was quite funny, and if there are "evil" spirits there I doubt very much that would ahve moved them on.
If so called spirit exists it will still be there long after that building comes down, from everything I have been told by various mediums etc and read in books, exorcisms dont work, and this is from believers not sceptics.

It is all entertainment. Simple as that. Yet people choose to take it seriously.

I hadn't seen this crud for about 6 years and we had a bit of a get together on Friday and switched it over for a giggle - omg thats exactly what we had. The woman doesn't ever shut up! How on earth the great stage show that is MH complete with incantations (gasp) and Carl running around swatting invisible flies and having things thrown at him whenever the camera wasn't on him - yeah right. It lasted about 10 mins in the GC house to see if it got better - it didn't. It is only entertainment but its dire and has got worse (not that it was ever good in the first place).

I think the words ' This show is for entertainment purposes only' is a huge sign. Ofcom can do anything while that lable is on the front of their show. Which is a huge shame. Loppholes everywhere.

I have been around Denbigh Mental a few times "exploring" (I have pics on the 28DL site) and the thing that scared me most while there was the amount of asbestos! I noticed for the show new mortuary slabs were installed, I think these were later used to make an office desk for Karl Beattie!
