The show went down hill fast when Derek left and and continued to do so when David left. At least they were entertaing. The ones they have got now could not tell their a**e from their elbow let alone summon up a ghost. This ground breaking show has spawned many others In its wake. I think we will always have somthing to say and post . It has also made house hold names of a lot of otherwise unknown people, the extra money will come in handy for them too CHEERS

Most Haunted is on its last legs. There may be one more series but thats about it, the show has run its course. This new medium is totally non-descript. But come on, its given posters on here something to write about and has given television two great personalities, Derek and David Wells. Yes, they were, and still are complete frauds, but they have provided us with some great television (at least i think so); so i will be sorry to see the end of this ground-breaking show. Every time a new live show airs or a new series comes out, it is invariably followed by the statement 'Most Haunted is on its last legs'. Now I'm no more saying that their 'investigations' are more real than Harry Potter than anyone else, but the fact is that they have continued to churn out their pap unhindered. Someone must be watching it. Someone must enjoy it. If it was really on its last legs 2 years back as some people suggested, we would not all be suffering a 7 night long shriek fest with added hysteria now. We might all wish it were on its last legs, but there is no indication that it is. Personally speaking, I had more fun in the A&E department of our local hospital where we had to rush our daughter on Monday night and where we were stuck until 3 am.

hellyp, hope your daughter is ok?
What gets me is, if the team really believe in ghosts, then why do they continuously search only for the evil spirits? If you believe spirits exist at all, then you must believe that good spirits exist too. In fact, given that the majority of people are neither evil nor angelic, you could argue that there should be far more 'good' or 'ok' spirits than there are evil - and therefore, you should be more likely to be able to contact them?

This is beneath contempt. That fool of a so called medium Brian Shepherd, has said he has been contacted by a man who was hanged for murder. He mentioned the mans name I will not repeat it as it is within living memory and the murder took place in Liverpool. The mans family will be devastated if they or their friends happen to be watching. Something was said down Yvettes ear piece ,she could not shut the fool up quickly enough. The man who was hanged was innocent, as was later proved .

you can bet it's all gonna go down now. They've kicked ciaran off the investigation, and stuck him in the studio. So, now they're free to let stuart and karl go mental, kicking walls throwing stones etc..

On another note. Karl is always banging on about "BRING IT ONNNNN!!!!" IN regards to these "demons" but what if they do decide to bring it on, he's the one that's gonna be standing there in BROWN pants!! ;D

Just watched the other channel where this programme is a hour later on in its run .I was so angry with that fool B S, I had to confirm what I had heard. I now realize that Yvette was as bad as you know who in repeating the mans name before being advised to shut up .What ever credibility this show may have had has now gone .Do they not do research . They owe the mans family a sincere apology. They may well try to rectify this. They should do so and soon.

Well heres the blurb for night two and so much for them not having a clue about the history or details of potential hauntings of the place , theres enough here for a researchers dream and all freely available for the medium to read and elaborate on . Whats the point really then of having Billy Roberts there when anything he says can be found easily on the net or is already common knowledge about the place . If like last night all he does is repeat names and facts i could find in two seconds off google without adding any new details or lesser known facts that could be checked or hint at further communication with an actual sprirt all this programme becomes is regurgitation of history books and articles of the past or infact already well known knowledge of a location and its tales from a man who lets not forget WRITES BOOKS on haunted locations in Liverpool for a living !?!?! Heres the blurb from the MH LIVE SITE - Night Two - The Search For Evil Apparitions – Empire Theatre The Empire Theatre is claimed to be home to several apparitions. Amongst them a young girl who materialises as a solid form in the area of the circle from where she fell to her death, an old man who haunts the snug area of the bar beneath the stalls, and perhaps most menacing of all the dark malevolent and sinister shape that is said to materialise on the stage. Apparitions are claimed as supernatural manifestations of the souls of the departed. One of the most famous documented cases of this phenomenon is The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall seen many times through the years but seemingly captured on film in 1936. A professional photographer, Captain Provand, with his assistant Indre Shira, working for 'Country Life’, were taking photographs of the Hall, on the 19th September, at around 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Having taken one exposure, they were preparing for a second, when Shira saw a shadowy shape apparently descending the stairs. He shouted to the captain, asking if he were ready, he replied "yes" and exposed the film as Shira set off the flash. When the negative was developed it showed the famous image. There were three witnesses to the development of the negative, Shira, Provand and a chemist, Benjamin Jones. A full account of the strange event was published in Country Life magazine in December 1936. Will the continuing efforts of the Most Haunted team persuade the apparitions of the Empire Theatre to manifest bringing these illusive phantoms to the light? Thanks for that fluffet, have karma

Well there you have it!
Another end to a pointless boring investigation. So let's see, do we have any evidence of the paranormal for this 7 night farcicle circus?
Answer.....NO
Did we see any ghosts? Answer.....No
So basically what was the F*cking point of this 7 night investigation, oh i just saw the end bit and what was all those coffins they're for?
I mean how low can you stoop putting all those coffins there! They're really is no point to this programme anymore or there tricks anymore. When are people gonna wake up and start watching something far more interesting, even earlier on tonight when MHL started my 8 year old son said to me "mummy why do these people make this all up, there is no such thing as the devil", says it all really.....

They only do it for money & they don't give a crap about how they go about it. Karl (or is it Carl ... who cares!) even made a wee speech at the end about Yvette & the pain she's been in & being a trooper (promoting their up & coming programme about Yvette & her operation, no doubt). I understand that the pain is really bad but it's really bad for countless women around the world but they don't go making a documentary to make mega money .... Well, there have been a few women who have done it but you know what I mean. The Beattie couple have no morals or decency. BTW. I only seen the last few minutes because I was waiting on TAPS to come on. I really hope I've left this post with my dignity intact

Hellyp hope your wee bairn is feeling better and on the mend You make a good point in regards to MH and the last legs scenario. Ive often thought more so in the last year or so that its plumbing a whole new depth even for them and that has coloured my view of its popularity in that because i now feel its soooo bad that it makes you think surely other people must be switching off . But i think as you said regardless of its descent further into ridiculous pantomime and shlock tactics it does still pull in the viewers ,whether people are watching it seriously or simply for laughs or to see how bad it gets the fact is they are STILL watching it .Tv companies and programme makers dont care why we watch they just care IF we watch . And once again as you pointed out it wouldnt get 7 nights straight prime time slots of four hours nor would it get backing from so many advertisers (out of the four hours it feels like at least an hour of that is ads) if there was no one actually watching it . So we can assume that its viewing figures are still up there , and that its not likely to get pulled from the schedules for that reason anytime soon i suppose . In fact never as far as i can remember has there been a show that has such double sided pull for viewers , its gets the ones who enjoy it for what it is or who take it seriously AND it pulls in viewers who cant stand it or who laugh at it purely to see how bad it gets or in the hope of catching them out faking . That to me is why perhaps it has a much longer life than id previously thought possible till you pointed it out . As much as i cant stand its approach and most of the people involved with it now i am beginning to understand why it still continues to be popular (for good or bad reasons)because i know if its on and i can watch it i always end up tuning in just to see what utterly unbelievable pap they will attempt to pull of next and there is always the draw no matter how unlikely you know it is that SOMETHING anything might happen albeit far from paranormal that finally could be the downfall of it or perhaps the making . I know one things for sure as long as they continue to go for the obvious ratings puller tactics they do , as long as people are fascinated by the macabre and darker stories they jump on , it will most probs exist on our tv screens.
