Great (wink) early bird runs out this week. You can of course book at any time leading up to the conference as long as places are left. It is filling up nicely though so dont leave it too long for those of you still contemplating....

Hi Jigsaw ... would love to attend but unfortunately I am metaphorically tied up. Shame as the conference is something I would enjoy very much!

I think it's going to be a really good one - but I am a bit biased! ;D
We're about 5 people away from being full. It won't matter if we don't fill the last few places but it would be nice to see them go.

Wait...I'm getting an image on me crystal ball...it's a bit cloudy but it's getting clearer... tomroberts, I see you wearing a badge of some sort...the letter K is coming into focus...and the letters T, A and I...I'm getting a chocolatey, wafery sensation... No, it's gone.

I wish I wasn't on student finances. I would have loved to be there. Maybe... maybe I can attempt some form of astral travel?

It's worth a try, Hayley. We can get in free and see the male delegates in their underwear.
*heh heh heh*

Or... it could end in tragedy and we could end up with an ear at the conference and the rest of our bodies elsewhere.
Oh wait... that's Harry Potter.

The UK-Skeptics conference was an absolutely fantastic event. It not only matched our hopes and expectations but exceeded them!
It was a great mixture of educational talks mixed in with some entertainment put on by the castle; all taking place within a friendly atmosphere in a fabulous location.
There will be a report on the conference coming out in the next couple of weeks or so.
The next conference will probably be in a couple of years' time.

Not an annual event then? That is a shame, I was skint this year and couldn't attend.

We'll probably do some other things in the meantime but as a flagship event, Muncaster will most likely be every 2-3 years.
We might do something a little less formal next year. So it will be in a city somewhere (accessible) and we can get more people there (thus cheaper).
Details will be announced when we decide what to do. ;D

Interesting to see that some folk from "Spirit Love" were there. I trust there was no violence, wanton damage of auras or casting of spells?

No, it's gone. Julia, I fear you need some Windowlene, for your crystal ball. I left the chocolatey badge at home - laminated the cat and took her instead. Yes, there were 3 folk from Spiritlove at the Conference - they really enjoyed it too.

We controlled their powers with our negative skeptical energies. ;D They were really nice people and I enjoyed meeting them. We had some good chats, a good laugh, and they kept me up drinking till 2.30AM each night!
