The uncannily resemblance of peoples family members she reads for. The program gives no indication as to what contact the people have with her before the reading. For all we know they may have to contact her by post enclosing a picture of the relative they wish to communicate with.

I thought Jon might know a bit more about the specifics of this.

I thought Jon might know a bit more about the specifics of this. Im not sure what 'specifics' you're looking for. There is not enough information in that clip to determine anything. You seem to be amazed by her ability to produced a drawing of someone (and yes, she is a very good artist), but without any other information, that is all she is doing.

However articles on these people are covered, be it in print or on television, the doubt will always be there that there was some kind of interaction with the sitter before hand. Only by a trusted personal account by someone like a member on here that achieves a good result with signed declarations that there was nothing provided before hand can we be more certain that this is genuine. Also look at the possibilities of the deceased bearing a resemblance to the sitter. Can we be sure that its not just a perception of the sitter plus 30 or 40yrs?

you can apply cold reading plus other techniques to this, its easy to draw anyone that comes into your mind - you see the person you are drawing for will mentally match the picture to who they want to.

Ok well she admitted to being an artist before she became a medium, she is familiar with basic charicature faces and styles (all artists will learn this at some point) she just seems to be doing basic generic drawings to me, the figures she draws do not match exactly the pictures associated with them, they merely resemble the people in the photographs. She is using basic medium cold reading techniques to determine the "nice points" about these people and the relatives will naturally agree with her assesment. I see no ability here, and to be brutally honest her drawing style is amature and mediocre at best, infact she draws like my mum.
