I can see a golden opportunity to test communication with the dead. Here we have a psychic who knows he's going to 'pass over' in the near future. If Colin and Jon were willing to work together a simple test could be devised.

The problem with that is twofold.
1. Colin is not going to survive death]
2. No such thing as mediumship so who is gonna pass on the message?

Any medium who says they can contact the dead should be able to contact Colin. Especially if he's on the other side trying to make contact. Basically, the same test that Houdini arranged before he died. Difference being you would have a medium on both sides trying to communicate. What better chance could there be.
I'll wager anything that once Colin has passed over they'll be mediums who claim to have spoken to him. Get him to agree on a password and these claims can be knocked on the head straight away.

Every medium and their dog will claim he is talking through them, that is why I am calling on him to come clean before he dies!
And if you think you could trust Colin to keep private an arranged message with me, then you are mad, and thats the problem with arranging such a test with him for when he dies. He would insist on a proxy medium I would have to use that he trusts, and of course would set me up to look a fool.
Houdini test made sense since Houdini was never gonna set someone up. Although the word did get out and ended up with mediums to this day still claiming all sorts about him

It is obvious to me that when he dies he should contact us through Sally Morgan. She will claim the credit anyway I am sure. I'm not sure John Morgan (a proven homophobe) would allow Colin anywhere near Sally. He'd probably 'knock him out' or 'have him lifted'. Begs the question really - did John's homophobic tendencies come as a big shock to Sally? I think I'd know if my wife was homophobic. I'd know because I wouldn't want anything to do with her. Anyway, I'm sure Higgs, Acorah or Stockwell will have Colin 'coming through' in the future. Probably when their respective ticket sales need a boost. |

I asked Colin privately about this very thing, with regards to him coming back through a medium, He made it pretty clear to me he would NOT be coming back through any medium!

I find that very odd. I mean, we all know (well those with a rational brain anyway) that we "won't" be coming back through a medium, but I'm surprised he doesn't at least make the effort! :-) A man who has claimed be have clairaudience abilities for 40 years (or is that clairsentience? I get confused when he only asks for the sounds and not the feelings and than goes on to say "I'm feeling......")..... and not want to give it a go from the other side. Strange. |

I don't know if he would state that publicly because there will definitely be a 'medium' who will channel the spirit of Colin Fry whether he likes it or not, so if he did state that he would not be contactable from the other side then that medium should be considered as not telling the truth and I cannot imagine his close 'medium' friends would not be mentioning in their shows, how happy Colin now is on the other side, so it could cause a few problems in the world of mediumship. I do feel a bit mean talking like this as if Colin has actually gone, don't mean to cause upset but only commenting as Jon has been able to speak to Colin about this. Jon, are you able to say why Colin has decided not to 'come back'?
