i've been doing a lot of reading here and have learned a lot. I realize that my reading was not very good where after I received it I thought the medium had been right on with some things. I still do think that there are many mediums that do believe in what they do and some are just outright fraud.
I agree, many mediums have deluded themselves into thinking they have real powers. I have see it first hand, and felt the power it gives you first hand, I studied to be a medium to prove a point, I finished top of the class, and never cheated once (despite knowing very well how too), when someone is crying to your face because of something you have said, the power you feel is intoxicating.
Not quite, I have said no medium in history has ever proven a single claim they have made.
The word fraud is a heavy word meaning to deceive with intent for money.
Many mediums do not do this, but they are still not really communicating with the dead.
Remember the only difference between a psychic and a psychopath is that the voices in the psychics head are not telling them to kill people!
The voices can be very real to them, but they are from psychological and mental health reasons, not because of dead person talking to them.
Cheers
The problem is, what if they just got lucky? 100% pure coincidence they came out with a certain phrase or nickname that matched what you wanted to hear, how do you differentiate?
If I line up 1000 people, and say one phrase to each of them one by one. By pure luck one of them will find that phrase meaningful to them. ANd if they are unaware i have repeated that same phrase to 999 other people, then they will truly believe in me right?
There is always an excuse, because the readings are always fake.
What would it take to convince me, on a personal level, all it would take is for the medium to answer a few direct questions about the dead person I am wanting to hear from. Thats it, yet medium never take direct questions, they always tell you what they want to say and leave it up to you to twist it in your head to make it fit.
So if I go to a medium, and they say to me, "I have your grandmother here, what would you like to ask her?"
And I reply "Ποιο είναι το όνομα του χωριού, που έχασαν τη ζωή τους σε" and the medium then replies with one word, in Greek, that answered my question, Then I would have to believe. I would probably ask a couple more questions just to doubly make sure. And the fact I am asking them questions in a language foreign to them, shouldn't matter, as my dead Grandmother should understand and can say to the medium in a simply way the answer.
Mediums dont like being asked specific questions, because they cannot give answers, it is that simple.
Ask a medium, "what was my Great Grandfathers Nickname from his wife?", THEY CANT GUESS THAT!
And if they do, they will get it wrong, and then turn it around on you and insist that it was his nickname.
Another thing mediums do, they insist they are right even when they are wrong. tell you to "take that away with you.." or "ask your parents about that"
Anything to get rid of you and to put the burden back onto you.
Let me state it here, it is statistically improbable that any medium in history has ever communicated with the dead in any way.
It is more statistically probable that the Loch Ness Monster grew legs and walked out of Loch Ness! Really! That is more statistically probable than a medium speaking to the dead, since scientifically that can actually be explained in evolutionary terms!
Things that are more statistically probable than a medium really speaking to the dead.
Intelligent life on Mars right now
Finding a shark with fingers
A chimpanzee speaking English
MissJo getting a boyfriend
A man jumping off the top of the Empire State Building with no parachute and not dying.
You sneezing right now and your brain exploding
All though things are more likely than a medium ever communicating with the dead.
And remember for any medium to prove what they do is real is incredibly easy! Seriously, it is so easy that if it was real, it would have been done decades ago.
Don't you think all those dead scientists would have come up with a workable theory by now as to any continued existence and passed it on through a medium?
Simple test for a medium, take a quantum physicist to a medium, tell the medium to bring through a dead quantum physicist, and the living quantum physicist to ask 10 really complicated questions that only another quantum physicist would understand. There is no way that medium could fake giving the answers! The only way would be if they trained for decades to become a quantum physicist themselves, and if they had done that there is no way they would be selling £30 readings!
Sometimes if you truly look at things critically and rationally, the idea that some people can talk to the dead is so ridiculous that it truly is laughable
