She came 5th out of 14! Not bad for her first race. The jockey thought that she needed a longer race as she was really getting into it right as it was finishing. We shall see what happens.
I didn't attend the race with my parents. My baby sister did. She had walked out of the Easter festivities on Good Friday so maybe it was the best thing that she spent the day with them.
I upset her apparently. Easily done with her I'm afraid.
Apart from that, a great weekend had by all.
Hope yours was good too!

My older sister used to do that! I used to stay out of the way when she came home.
I'm glad you had a good weekend. It's been quite good here too. Did an Easter egg hunt around the house.

I've been married 8 years in August, and it's definitely not been all plain sailing, but taken all in all it's been the best 8 years. And we both have a large arsenal of foreplay techniques...

Legoland!
How fucking expensive is that.
£79 for 2 adults and 2 kids....and that is discounted by buying tickets through Lastminute.com, then £50 + for petrol, and then I have had to put the dog in kennels as I am staying at my cousin's house (who is joining me and the kids for the day) as her boyfriend is allergic to him, so that is another £40.
Could have gone to Spain for the same amount.
The weather had better perk up.

The children loved it and three and a half year later we still talk about it! Oh yes - I loved it too!!

Ranting time.....long one.....
Well, I saw the Physiologist today. He doesn't think I have Fibromyalgia because I am in too much pain. But then he said that I need to go back to work, because I'll be in pain whether I'm working or not. OH---and I need to do water aerobics five times a week, and regular aerobics, too.
I tried to explain that I suffer from dizziness and vertigo....so water aerobics is out (I tried it and had to stop, because the motion of the water made it worse and I threw up from it--oh, and the water was too cold and hurt my skin). Regular aerobics? I used to do ball exercises until I fell off the ball from the dizziness. I used to do Yoga and Tai Chi until, again, I fell over from the dizziness.
I can't even SHOWER standing because of the dizziness and vertigo.
And yes, I need to get a job. When I told the doctor that the only jobs I've held and have experience in are jobs that include heavy lifting, he told me I can't do heavy lifting and need a sedentary job. And how, pray tell, should I get one of those? And one that will not be upset when I accidentally throw something out that was required, and file a cup of coffee because my brain doesn't work right many days. Oh--and one that's okay if I can't get into work because I'm so dizzy I can't walk to the bus stop. Where shall I get this imaginary job?
He basically told me the pain is in my head, because my symptoms don't correlate to anything he's seen. That's nice, tell that to my legs, arms, back, skin, head, etc.
At least he's sending me for various tests. MRI, EEG, massive amount of blood tests, and some other test. That's about the only good thing.
So basically, it's MY fault that I'm sick because I am not working (even though my employer basically told me not to come to work because I was so sick, fell, and blacked out three times), and not doing water aerobics. Lovely.
I'm so SICK of this. I came home and bawled my eyes out. It's really sad when doctors make you wish that you had a horrible disease that they could TEST for. I'd rather be dying from something diagnosable than deal with this anymore.

And if I still lived there I definitely would! I swear they get to a certain point and then forget that they're dealing with actual people with feelings.

Aw, thanks you two! My mumsie was talking to a lady she knows (her husband has parkinsons and is in the same nursing home as my grandfather). Her husband's doctor is the same physiologist I saw. She said his bedside manner is crap, but he's a good doctor. LOL. Argh! Dr. House in the flesh, perhaps?

I do wish you a speedy recovery and I sympathise about the doctors. My only experience of the Canadian system was having to walk around a fair sized town from Drs to Hospital to Mall trying to get some treatment for a spider bite not pleasant at all.
Is there someone other than a Dr that you can talk this over with?
