That would be interesting.I have listened to many of the clips and whatever the cause, it seems hard to be flippant and say that Leslie Flint was just a fake.Some of the recordings are actually very clear and impressive.

Anyone with an ability to mimic or impersonate people could do this. That bloke who does George W Bush on Dead Ringers is amazing! But looking through the people this man 'channeled' there are a lot who couldn't be verified, eg. Ellis the hangman. I started listening to 'Ellis' but the sound quality was pretty bad. Channeling goes in and out of fashion. Hopefully next time it goes out it will stay out!

Flint had associates who could all do voices.
When Flint was tested he was the ONLY one who was bound and gagged, no one thought the do the same to his associetes lol
Its like gagging John Culshaw and leaving Rory Bremner in the audience

I agree Tree, it probably wasnt him, but someone else present.
Direct voice, ectplasmic voice boxes etc are not real.
Its all done in the dark to fool gullible old people who really should know better.

No, when Micky came in the power as it builds up was undescriiable and you can't capture that on any cassette tape that one can hear....

Also can i ask which seances you actually went to with Flint?
I happen to know quite a few people who saw Flint in action, and I also happen to know exactly how he accomplished many of his tricks.
Would be good to compare notes

I listened to these recordings, and they are so obviously the same person. That 'Mickey' is supposed to be a child, yet that isn't a child's voice. And the 'women' are so bad as to be laughable! Just some bloke speaking in a higher, softer tone. A pantomime dame could do a better impersonation! And did this Flint geezer only bring back English speaking deadies, or were there loads of different foreign deadies who spoke lots of different languages? That would be a little more impressive. And why would Queen Victoria come back to speak to a bunch of people she didn't know, sitting in the pitch black?? If you were a deady, would YOU come and talk to a load of strangers sitting in the dark?! For that matter, if you were ALIVE, would you go and talk to a load of strangers sitting in the dark?!!!! Bunch of loonies! |
