With MH's continuation apparently on a shoogle peg and the last Ghost Hunting with...getting stinking reviews it looks like film is the new focus for Beattie and co.... www.karlbeattie.co.uk/Credits.htmlwww.malum.co.uk Zomedies have been done to death if you'll pardon the pun....as for "Malum" well... can't find much buzz for or about it on the net so far...

I hope he doesn't get the funding. Or if he goes ahead they bomb so badly that they lose a fortune!

Pre-production and In development don't mean that these things are going anywhere or that they'll ever see the light of day. They're terms used a lot in the film/TV industry and are simply another way of saying 'we're thinking about it a lot'.
Here's the three projects I'm working on at the moment: 1. Title - The Roasting: A leg of lamb with an ensemble supporting cast of vegetables with an ending that will defy the Beef. Stage: In pre-production. 2. Title - TBC: 1st of two combedies that will change the comb/hair genre. Stage: Shampoo/hair gel recruitment. 3. Title - TBC but basically I'm just padding this out a bit because 3. is actually included in 2. above.
The Malum website is just a logo with Karls contact detail on it and as for 'Zomedies' I think Fluffs quite right they have been done to death with Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland milking the genre dry. I'm surprised he's not thrown in a Vampire movie in there just for good measure.

Ooooft pahaha priceless Morg I don't really have any real wish for it to fail or suceed to be honest , a suppose at least if he moves into films the spook action will be actually billed as fiction this time round Just thought it was a bit of a "johnny come lately" venture when the arse is just about ripped right out of the genre

To say JCLately i would think is preferable for the Beatties than it being "a John come prematurely" Which bearing in mind their "huge egos" couldnot be tolerated, what people might think lol ;D
