No Homeopathy on the NHS Responsible department: Department of Health In February 2010 the House of Commons science and technology committee published the findings from their evidence check on homeopathy. Their findings were unambiguous. Homeopathy is no more effective than any other placebo. The report recommended that "Homeopathy should not be funded on the NHS and the MHRA should stop licensing homeopathic products." This petition calls on the government to implement the recommendations of this report. epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/2159

I agree with it, though, it shouldn't be funded by the NHS at all. How come this petition is going to be open for a year, it does seem a long time?

I honestly thought that this had all been sorted. Why wait, the findings clearly show it is a none starter. So for another twelve months the N H S will have to fork out money they can ILL afford [no pun intended] on something the majority believe to be useless, it makes no sense.

Whoever did the petition didn't really think first. You only need 500 signitures for a petition to be passed to the Government, a simple 1 week petition would have done the job and then get a reply much sooner
