Ok, can someone please tell me the fascination of this new book that everyone is going on about? I thought it was just woman book porn??
And here is a joke to make my point
Middlesbrough was narrowly beaten as the wettest place in Britain in June, by the queue at Waterstones for 50 Shades of Grey

a woman friend of mine was curious about this book, I had not heard of it. upon checking it out I was struck by the double standard - if men went wild over something like this we would be branded perverts. my sisters friend used to read it on the way to work on the bus, but hid it inside a different dust jacket lol

It's the worst book I've ever read, I don't know what all the fuss is about. It isn't erotic, it's just some mad woman writing down as many phrases as she can that she thinks are 'sexy' and inbetween those so-called 'sexy' scenes the writing's so poor you'd think it'd been written by a 10 year-old. Any woman getting excited by this book needs to get out more - or needs to read more books so she can appreciate a good one.

Just to add, I didn't buy the book, it was given to me by my 72 year-old Stepmother, who also couldn't see what all the fuss is about. Some people must just be easily impressed!!

Still getting over fifty shades of grey, but lately I've been hooked on Kenyon's Dark Hunter series and Emma Rose's His Every Desire series. Something about those billionaires...

generate your own , here: www.fiftyshadesgenerator.com/its as bad as the real thing lol. my sister wanted 50 shades, but only because all of her friends had read it, and she didn't want to feel left out or behind with the latest trend. I think thats how it has become so popular. Women have to be seen with it.

I have barb, took the book to Spain with me in the summer hols my other half bought it for me, didn't think it would be my cup of tea but I was hooked. My partner came out a week later to Spain and I contacted him beforehand and begged him to bring the other 2 copies or his life wouldn't be worth living. The book is pure fantasy and I admit some of it was so far fetched but I quite enjoyed the story and an easy read whilst on holiday.
