Bill Roache, arrested over claims of rape

Coronation Street star Bill Roache was today sensationally arrested over claims he raped a 15-year-old girl in 1967.
The 81-year-old actor, who has played strait-laced Ken Barlow for five decades, was held during a breakfast time swoop at his home in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

It seems to me any celebrity from the 60's & 70's is now fair game for rape or sexual abuse claims. The bandwagon must be creaking under the weight of people jumping on it.

Just a month or so ago he was saying in an interview in New Zealand that victims of rape etc were paying for past life crimes

Just been on the news that Stuart Hall pleaded guilty in court. It makes you wonder what else is too come!!!. . I feel so sickened that people I liked and entertained us all over all these years, must have thought that, because they were who they where, they could get away with it.

its fortunate that there doesn't appear to be a statute of limitations on these crimes, or the victims waiting 40 years to come forward would have no case.
why wait so long?
