I was thinking about this the other day, comparing Google and God.
One of the most famous claims for God is that he is omnipotent.
Well Google has kinda done that with Google Earth, it can literally see anywhere on the entire planet.
Another claim for God is that he is all knowing!
Is there a person you know who doesn't "Google" something when they want a question answered?
Google literally knows all.
We could look at other big internet companies and make more comparisons but I think you get my point

actually most of my friends, even while chatting on skype, sitting at their pc's, will ask me for computer advice when they have google at their bloody fingertips...

We as a house hold do rely on Google a lot. Don't think we realise how much we probably take it for granted. My 7year old thinks I'm crazy when I explain we didn't have google when I was younger lol.
